Real question.
What is the concern with a powered frunk lid? Never once have I ever heard someone complain about not having a powered hood on an ICE truck. I don't even know if they make such a thing.

Do people want the frunk lid powered because they view it more like an SUV tailgate now?
Wouldn’t a powered one pull it down tighter for a better seal especially when it’s in boat mode.

Sharp corners of the frunk lid in the head ?will make you say F**K!! I bet!
We could all adopt 'FRUNK' as the go to word when being expressive.
eg: 'FRUNK COUGH' ( Reacting to a Ford owner's boast about BIG vs BIGGEST )
'FRUNK_KIT' [ A lunch box/cooler option when down the beach watching 'the girls watch the boys watch the girls go by' ]

Honestly this is the most ridiculous thread about the Cybertruck in quite some time.

11 pages of people whining about it being … the second largest frunk of any vehicle out there. And quite possibly the widest. When there’s a 6 foot bed behind them.

Talk about first world problems.
I think I have a solution for all the peeps that are truly saddened by the frunk size.

Step 1. Remove all the seats inside.
Step 2, Replace the front seats in the back facing the other way.
Step 3. Replace the back seats where the front seats used to be. Direction they face is your choice.
Step 4. Drive the CT in reverse all the time,

You now have a frunk that is over 6 feet in depth and is undoubtedly the largest in the world. Of course, the "bed" is now smaller and you're driving it from the back seat, but hey, at least you've stopped whining about the frunk!

I think the frunk looks awesome, and way better than any other Tesla or the original renders, which looked small. Switching to the lifting grill is a game-changer for accessibility. And it should make an obnoxious seat for watching outdoor concerts or kids sporting events.
Totally!
lets count our blessings:
first there was no hope there will be frank, given that dimentions were shrunk 5% and nose got shorter
then there was strong hint that there will be actual frunk but a lot of fear that it will be tub style, like Rivian
then there was a picture with open frank, but hard to see if any space will be accessible and not consumed by mechanical/electric stuff
then there was a picture with open frank, and lots of stuff stuffed inside and really impossible to figure out if there is space for frunk
Now we finally have a confirmation that there is indeed actual frunk! and Im fine with that! :)

Just to clarify, this would be the 5th largest, behind the Lightning, Silverado and Hummer Twins

And that's a Cybertruck logo in the back wall of the frunk. Animated image by @1993FordAerostar showing it more clearly. ?

Eh, it looks smallish compared to other EV truck frunks. More like a bench than a frunk. How wide is the CT? The thing is the entire power train of the vehicle is packed into that giant dashboard. That’s what’s taking up all of that space.

Cool. That would make a nice little bench for sitting on and watching fireworks. A row of grocery bags or a cooler should fit in there as well.

Frunk envy is a despicable feeling accompanied by general dissatisfaction with live itself. And understandable so. And while I would never judge another by the size of their frunk, I certainly would not like my daughter to marry someone with a such an undersized front storage area. Statistics have shown us that frunk size has little bearing on real frunk satisfaction. And while I doubt anyone actually believes this frunk size dribble, mistruths continue to this day.

Of course it’s easy to downplay such a trivial aspect of a truck when you have the BIGGEST FRUNK in the civilized world! Not that I’m bragging or anything.

Ok I’ll stop now.
personally I would go for Bollinger
but I think it is vaporware so CT will do :ROFLMAO:

As long as Frank can fit in the fruck, we’re good.

you forgot Rivian :)
Silverado, Hummer - both vaporware
By volume id say this is bigger than the rivian twins. I’ve been in a hummer so while there might not be many of them, its certainly exists.
really cool ride actually
