I took the DeLorean to a sports bar yesterday... it got photographed at least twice while I was walking from the lot to the front door.

Expect the same treatment with your Cybertruck for quite some time.

I don't see Rivian getting that attention. I really don't want that kind of attention when I am driving my unit but then again I'm 275,000 in line and the first view experience may be over by then ....I am hoping.

Three years later and people still are curious about the model Y. I gave the random guy I sold my old tires a test ride in it. He loved it and wants to buy one. I don't think the new factor will wear off by the time you get yours

Will probably depend on where you are in the world. I don’t see them as much in some parts of the country. In my home area, you can’t swing a dead cat without hitting a Tesla. In SoCal, no one looks twice at a Tesla, unless you have some crazy wrap on it. Then it’s the wrap that is getting the attention, not the Tesla. And trust me, there are some crazy wraps out here. Not only is there a prism wrap around here, there is a pickup with a prism wrap with a thin purple tint to it. Odd colors don’t even turn many heads. Remember, we see Paris Hilton’s Pepto-Pink Bentley out here! I did see a VanHalen Franken-Fender inspired MY a couple years ago. Looked like a single wrap, so someone is printing that pattern onto vInyl. Then again, you can get almost anything printed for your wrap.

I spent a couple days over the hill and wow, you really could tell one in ten cars in California are Teslas now. They were everywhere.

Even in NC MY's are everywhere. I took my grandson to a pumpkin patch and there were 100's of cars parked in the field., so no marking rows. Hours later when we were leaving I had to search the field for it. Got to 3 identical white Y's before I found mine.
