Seems like we've gotten a lot of information recently (whether legitimate or through the echo chamber) on what the CT will or won't have, as opposed to the reveal night and various tweets since then.

With all the updates, why are you all still here? What will make November 30th a good or bad day for you?

I'll bite . . .
  • Off-Roading - Access to trailheads and backcountry pursuits in CO that no other Tesla is currently capable of. This is the main reason I haven't already purchased one (a Tesla) up to this point. If CT was never on the radar then I would already be in an R1T.
  • Range - Currently, "signed up for" the 500 Mile version for non-stop roundtrips/daytrips of 300 miles in and out of the mountains. If this is not an option then this will shift to the Supercharging network (and NACS) being better than current competition at (hopefully) a similar range.
  • The Looks/Functionality - I see these as one and the same. Hopefully more resistant to hail and the elements here in CO as well as day to day bumps and bruises. The covered cargo area is also a huge plus. Most importantly though I think it genuinely looks awesome!

My main reason isn't on here, so i'm a tesla fan boy i guess.. The other two were towing and camping. But the primary reason, i think its going to make me a shitton of money :)

  • Part of a clean business model that is more sustainable, which inherently better supports the mission objective of sustainable transport.

  • Performance, safety, innovative technology, durability, zero emissions, and driving experience afforded from manufacturing under the aforementioned clean business model.

  • Low cost of ownership for class of vehicle, over a five year period to lifetime.

My main interests weren't listed
1. Passenger Safety (bulletproof is kinda similar)
2. Cheap to operate/maintain
3. FSD

Hauling, offroading, capacity, etc. are great but secondary to that.

I want a truck so I don't have to tow stuff.

I don't have a garage, but maximizing space is essential in the mountains.

Same. But my spouse said she wants AWD and lifted my limit so I could afford the Dual Motor. I'm hoping Tesla doesn't raise the price so I can afford it.

I am in the long range/more stuff camp. If it comes through with >400 miles of range and smoking fast 800V charging, I am all in. Otherwise, I'm out.

Wanted SS, no expectation for ambiguous bulletproof comment though. I’m typically rough with my toys and have multitude self-inflicted injuries to my current truck.

Existing grid for reliability of charge.

Looks, something new and edgy! (Get it, edgy!)

Was hoping for solar availability for my 1 month camping trips. This hopefully arrives in the future due to interest(?lmao)
