I think the two biggest reasons many (most?) other brands have added them to their full size trucks would be to check for loose cargo and to assist when backing to hook up a goose neck trailer or 5th wheel trailer.
there won’t be any gooseneck or 5th wheel towing

You don't know that. It's a very narrow use case so probably not atop the Tesla list, true, but none? Ehh.

By using a Sixth Sense style?

That way you can see everyone. Both past and present. :eek:

Just curious if anyone has seen any evidence for or against a bed camera like Rivian and some of the other trucks out there have? For example Rivian must have just enabled flipping the bed camera on while driving (maybe it used to only be when backing?).

A vault camera is a really good idea.
