I hope it wasn't a Tesla employee who told him to not take pictures. Because that's a dumbass thing to say about a car parked in public.

Sometime around 2000-2010 it became common for people to believe that they could tell what you could or couldn't photograph (or video) simply because they owned it (or it was themself). The fact is, you can take photos of things in plain view, in public, including things visible through car windows, without the owner's consent. This includes children. I mean, after all, they are in a public place. It's a First Ammendment right, freedom of the press. You don't have to be an official member of an official news organization to excercise your right to photograph an event or anything at all in public for that matter (like a Cybertruck).

Who are these "don't take my picture" people trying to fool? Are they just ignorant of our freedoms?

Can't expect a right to privacy in a public place lol

I just want to have a chance to be told not to take the pic lol

Missed it again!

Nice! This got me thinking more about the monstrous wiper. My current car, sat in the elements overnight. Although it didn’t snow a lot, it got cold enough to freeze the wipers in place until the car warmed up.

People often set the wipers away from the windshield to prevent damage to the edge of the wiper when it freezes while they are at work or at home. Obviously the Cybertruck wont have that capability and Im sure they will place a heating element nearby, I hope.

You're correct about the right to privacy in public.

The other side of the coin is, the Tesla driver didn't have to stay there and let you take pictures. They could have just gotten in the CT and left.

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a quote on Facebook that you can copy and paste declaring to the world you don’t want Teslas to film you and they have to honor it. ?

Precondition the vehicle. If you leave it plugged in, it'll do it with power from the wall, even, if you tell it when to be ready by. It'll melt the ice along the windshield and let the wiper function normally.
