There's so many angles. There's expensive vehicle hate, Elon hate, EV hate, they think it's ugly, it's hard to tell which one is their problem lol

Ill add to that, truck owners never thought an EV could be a truck so we're infringing on their truck gas/diesel territory

In the last week, I've had one guy walking down the side walk screaming at the top of his lungs that I'm a Nazi for driving the CT, Nazi truck, blah blah blah. He didn't appear to have all his faculties.

In the same week I had a coworker tell me she secretly loves them even though her husband and kid don't, and that the demo drive I gave her absolutely made her week and that she loved it.

It all evens out.

“Secretly loves them” says all you need to know. Human group think is so odd. Some things you’re not allowed to like.

I have never owned an electric car (and never thought I would) and bought my CT 2 weeks ago. I have had a few scoffs but overwhelmingly it has been positive feedback with many ppl stopping me to ask about it or wanting to look inside. I do live in a conservative area of Texas so I assume my experience will be quite different from someone living on the coast. Another thing i have had several sentry alerts but most have been ppl peaking inside the window lol.

I was hoping the Cyberhate from all sides would die down. Over the last couple of weeks I was encouraged, it seemed to diminish. But I guess it’s like the weather

I was parking at a restaurant last night and three old ladies walked by my Beast, one of them saying “that’s the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen in my life” I responded “likewise”

My wife was blown away and we both were dismayed that a complete and total stranger would offer up unsolicited negative opinions.

And in my neighborhood these kids have been flipping me the bird every time I drive by. What’s odd for me is typically kids love this thing as do older people. Is hate contagious?

Yesterday I was getting some coffee for my wife and the person in front of me in the drive thru paid for my coffee. Didn't have a chance to say thank you but was in rural Minnesota so I assume it was because of the truck.

The CT for us is one of our 8 EVs since 2019 and from the beginning it’s been mixed emotions from the public. While we got many positive reactions the negative ones weigh more.

I’ve never driven a car in 40 years that actually had people walking up to me with unsolicited negative opinions. Yeah, it’s great to get compliments, and show the kids the drivers seat but it’s almost depressing to deal with loudmouth fucktards trying to ruin your day.

But one of my favorite Sentry alerts was getting mooned, it was hairy

It just stands out too much and it's an easy target for all of those things. I don't get anything in Florida anymore though there's so many Cybertrucks that I'm pretty sure any hater has gotten bored with it at this point.

The ugly angle is a strange one. It's like can't you just keep that to yourself? If I think your wife or kids are ugly am I going to yell it out at you lol
