Scoop : There likely will be a CT in a Seattle Tesla showroom on November 30 at the time of launch! I finally get to see it, touch it in person! Yay!! There’s a way!

ALSO: Got confirmation from Tesla guy who works in in one of the Tesla centers: CT will have a 1y no resale clause… if an owner has to sell he needs to sell back to Tesla. Hope it well work well against scalpers and think out the line leaving in mostly serious buyers. the Tesla employee told me that Tesla is well aware about the scalpers and they will actively work to try to minimize their impact one way or the other.
I'll bet the one year thing is information lag. He doesnt know that that language was taken back out.

Couldn't wait any longer, needed a Truck for my husband so
I bought him a 24' Silverado 2500 HD. I bet it will still be at least 2 years before my reservation# comes up.
And your husband thanks you! :) Im waiting for spec release and may trade my 16 GMC 2500 in for a 24 (still need towing capabilities and it appears CT 1.0 won't have it)...will still get the CT when it comes in but unfortunately looks like I need to keep both!

I think this tells us where the recent twenty trucks went to.

...and that deliveries may start in more places than Austin's event.

Elon hate California so much he is prioritizing orders from Californians.

I pretty much never trust the center people on these things. He might've just saw the articles about it. But idk maybe lol

Exactly what I predicted would happen with some of the early VIN hand built CT’s.

The Cybertruck displays will help drum up business for the S, X, 3 and Y during the traditionally slow new car sales months of December and January.

California and Texas buy more pickups than volume than any other states

Meanwhile, similar dynamic for BEVs generally

Meanwhile-meanwhile-meanwhile, similar dynamic in the CT reservation tracker

Tesla’s delivery priorities have always bent towards logistics efficiencies. They can fill the transport, headed to California in a day, whereas it filled transport to Wyoming and take a bit of time. Head them up, move them out.

At the same time, people would be high on hopium to think the location of these 20 showroom models indicates that the delivery event will involve simultaneous regional deliveries to normal retail customers. Or that any normal. Retail deliveries are starting anytime soon.

Anyone seen fleets of transports leaving GFTX? Anyone seen a normal customer, not under NDA, reporting having configured a vehicle?

Anyone follow Tesla’s financials closely enough to know that the first true production retail unit sale will trigger a $400M COGS hit to their books before year end (and absent any attendant upside from material CT sales margins)?

Specs and some info are coming in 10 days. After that, before year end, non-standard sales of non-standard units are likely coming. Maybe even retail configurator opening at or shortly after the delivery event.

But for standard production, of normal retail units, to normal retail customers: just remember the folks peddling that sort of hopium have spent the last few years back-peddling any number of baseless dream-lands. 9 months ago they were talking about 50K units by end of year, 500k units in 2024. Go back further in the timeline and they were talking 500k units in 2023, etc., etc., etc.

I don't know why this bothers me so much but it does why is it elevated like that and then drops down? So many things are going to be lost up here forever lol
