Went to the NYC store yesterday on a lunch break. It was so much more impactful in person. It really does make a statement. Also I was looking for alignment/panel gap issues the entire time; Glad to say the one in NYC was mint.

Any news if will get one for Miami.....?? It will be insane if they dont bring one to the most populate area in Florida. But again, i will not be surprise, given the PR track record of Tesla
It's like music and comic tours. They all stop at tampa cause imagine driving through central florida.

Yes, for people used to the size of an F150, the Cybertruck:

• in low or standard height, appears much smaller than a stock F150

• in medium or high, **appears** as imposing as an F150 - in the exact same way a Tacoma double cab on 35” wheels and a 3” lift **appears** as imposing as a stock F150

but reality/perspective would be restored if a CT in medium/high were placed instead next to an F150 on 35” tires and a 2” lift

the CT is

• ~3-4” narrower than an F150 (ignoring the CT’s fender flares),

• 8” shorter in length,

• far more vertically compact (in standard height, it has ~1.5” more ground clearance, but is still 7” shorter in height, for a ~8-9” difference in vertical volume)

• and has a cab that, instead of being an ~elevated rectangle of volume, is instead essentially a sloping (to front/back and side/side) pyramid/prism

And despite all of these midsized truck like volumes, the Cybertruck manages to have the same amount of overall cargo room as an ICE F150/Ram 1500 (but less than a Lightning), with only a modest decrease in leg room (though a more material decrease in hip/shoulder room)

Which is exactly the “Goldilocks” product offering Tesla has arrived at

“So just trying to get right in the middle of the Goldilocks Zone, not too big, not too small, and then really maximize the utility of the volume.”

Imo they took it slightly too far. An extra 2" in rear legroom and instead of almost full size they would have been same as full size, all while remaining within the dimensions of a long bed Tacoma (226") and wheelbase of an F-150 (145") but with 4WS. Likewise an extra 1-2" in width, same as a Silverado (81") or RAM (82"), and 1" in height would have brought them on par with full size when it comes to shoulder width and headroom.

Man it's disappointing to see the Tampa truck still has the terrible rear lightbar fitment. Especially after seeing 2 or 3 other near-perfect trucks so far.

What is WITH that?
Hope it‘s just not been closed completely.

Honest question, after the 30th are they going to allow people to sit in them, open things up etc? I guess I don't see the point of it just sitting there ?
My understanding is that these trucks will be opened up and even be available for test drives after the 30th.

I took delivery of the Model Y this Wednesday in Tampa and was told that they received the CT on Tuesday.
I am going to see it this Friday at the Tampa International Mall.
