2nd wave order invite appeared 12/15, then DISAPPEARED the next day!

I saw the post yesterday about second wave of invites showing up in the accounts. I went to check - lo and behold, I got one too! I wend into deliberation mode, wanted to go see it in the dealership before committing...

I wake up in the morning, go to check my account and... IT'S NOT THERE ANY MORE!

did they rescind it? Was it is a glitch to begin with? Anybody else in the same boat?

Next time I see it, I guess I have to jump on it immediately...

I have a suspicion that all of 2024 CyberTrucks are now accounted for and the Foundation Series is over. I think phase 1 for Tesla was to get as many CyberTrucks on the road possible by March. This will obviously take longer than March with any issues in production. After phase 1, they will concentrate on the CyberBeast for the remainder of year.

If they are cranking out 15 trucks a day it will take 66 days, roughly 3-months, to manufacture all 1,000 Founders Edition Cybertruck’s.

again, this is wrong-headed and adds unnecessary confusion


Tesla has not maxxed out the number of trucks they anticipate being able to sell in all of 2024

They’ve id any thing maxxed out the number off Foundation units they intend to build, which will stretch into early 2023


the Tesla guidance did not say “mid to late 2024” for Cyberbeast because that’s all the Cybertrucks they can build

it said that because, at the moment, that’s all the Cyberbeast they can build and provide expectations to deliver in 2024

so, your point may or may not be correct with respect to Cyberbeasts

but Tesla is building 9 AWD for every 1 Cyberbeast

they will keep churning out a lot of Cybertrucks, but few of them will be Cyberbeasts

I got mine the first wave, and took me 4 days to deliberate ? Guess I'm glad I wasn't in the second wave and then not be able to a day later. Sad to hear!

So thats what happened to my invite. I don't mind waiting but not for another four years.

Mine came back few days later on 12/19 and then I jumped on it.
