It looks like Tesla is about running out of YOLO & FOMO customers and exhausted the RN 112xxxxxx series. RN 113xxxxxx holders may be next… hold on to your seat and wallet, folks! ;)
t would be great but I do not think that it is true. So far we have seen a smattering of arms in the 11280-11290 range, and was it just 1 above 113. There are 200,000 RNs in that gap. One can hope though.

Regardless, congrats to those who would receive the FS invitation this Friday. Consider it as if you are receiving an early Christmas gift from Tesla instead of Santa.

It has been fun and exciting to watch this thread full of hilarious comments as well as helpful info & tips. Good luck to all. ;)

I am in the low end of the 112 reservations. 112745198 Nothing from Tesla except they confirmed my reservation. Most of the reservations for the FS seem to be random and widespread. not really based on the Reservation number sequence

Just got mine this evening as well. My heart is telling me to RKO that order button... but my gut is telling me to wait.

It would be foolish of me to add $27,000 to the cost of the truck just to get it a few months ahead of [mystery timeframe]. If Tesla is dragging out the Foundation Series to more than 1,000 ... that would be very disappointing and off-putting. Especially if my place in line is slammed back to the end of 2024 or worse.

I am a minute 1 reservation holder (RN1127596XX).
Ok, so... today's "me" woke up after sleeping on it, and I just went ahead and yeeted the button for the CyberBeast Foundation ?

May God have mercy on us.

I think the idea that tipped me in favor was this: Tesla is going to keep the foundation series open for several months, and it will be late 2024 or early 2025 before I could place an order for a standard trim. And when they do open orders for the non-foundation series, the base tires are going to be the regular puny road tires, and I suppose an upgrade to the all-terrains will be $2,000+.

I had originally locked in FSD at $7K, so there's that. Plus lifetime premium connectivity. Meh. YOLO I guess ?‍♂

The "extra $20k", in addition to sooner delivery, gets you $15k+ stuff with the AWD and $20K stuff with Beast. Tax credit eligibility is the main quantitative variable for prospective AWD buyers:

Agreed. I don’t qualify for the rebate and I didn’t choose FSD when I reserved because, well, I’m an idiot? Haha

the FS AWD made sense to me financially and frankly I really wanted it! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

After sleeping on it I will pass on the FS. If I really need to spend an extra 20K it will be for other things that will give me more pleasure like helping out less fortunate members of my family. The yucks of my new toy will wear off real fast when confronted with the financial realities faced by my siblings and kids. The regular series will come and I will wait. Congrats on the brilliant CT Elon. I will get one but will not be sucked into the current mania.

I have a reservation for the AWD that is going to be a while (only reserved in May.) If someone is going to let their "ready to order" Foundation truck go and is wanting the AWD later, I'd be interested in maybe buying the reservation from you (and giving you mine later for free when it comes up.) From what I can see, it would have to be an account without any cars on it to try to transfer it without a problem. Anyway, if someone is interested let me know. Its worth a shot and better than letting it just go. Im in Phoenix.
