So frustrating to see higher RNs than mine be fulfilled.

I’ve only read some of these 34 pages and didn’t see an answer.

And now I’m seeing some RN11280xxxx orders being placed.

I check website and my email everyday. Hoping…

Gundo
RN11279xxxx
I wish I can tell you the rhyme and reasons for these all.

I made my reservations on the night of launch and have dual for my preference.

Hearing priority to Texas and CA, then top end FS, living at the edge of CA but with Nevada address, I never expected an invite.

Then in comes, although even much later than those who have higher RN than mine.

Now, I surmise they might be drawing a grid circle of distance from their production sites in Texas and CA. But then, who really know?

@Administrator, I’m having issues with the update form. Would you update my reservation to an “AWD Dual-Motor” from the “Cyber Beast”? I went in today to and reconfigured to the AWD Dual-Motor. That also updated my projected timeline to January – March 2024. Further, I’m going to get the Range Extender.

So, I’ve been contemplating this for a little bit and decided to go to the Boise Tesla Store and reconfigure my order. They were all extremely helpful, kind/friendly, and not bothered by my indecisiveness. They are a pretty great team. We talked through my thoughts and they easily updated my order once I cemented my decision.

What I came down to is that although my “want” of the Beast version was strong, it was lacking in practicality of my desires (range, which I will explain). I can’t afford to add another 16K for the range extender to the Beast, but I can afford to put it on the AWD Dual-Motor and it still be less money.

I have a few reasons for this thought process but one of the main reasons was I wanted to use my truck as a truck to go disappear in the mountains and have fun (camping/backpacking/hiking/off-road) without it having to sit in my garage while I take a different vehicle. Sometimes I have to swap out my current Tesla because of this. My preferred locations are not comfortably in range of real-world mountain driving range due to lack of charging stations. My highway speeds are also 80mph that connect my locations and obviously that’s too inefficient (freaking physics always getting in the way). I am also one of those that would like to tow my camper reasonably well and whatever I can do to give me a few more miles to be comfortable, is good for me mentally. So, for me (my desires, needs and induvial situation/circumstances) I need more available milage and as built, which may be good enough for others, it isn’t for me. So, the only solution (save waiting even longer) to my desire of having this truck after waiting years (including following the rumors before the 2019 launch) was to sacrifice the sick acceleration and ungodly torque for still very respectable truck numbers.

Yeah I’ll probably cry (like the trade in offer that they gave me for my current Tesla) about it later, but…

Thanks very much. I was looking to see if anywhere there is a mention of a towing package inclusion. I'm surprised it's not.
Check the price details in your the app. That is where it will be!

Only about 18 CTs have been delivered so far, none of the ones on this list as far as I know.
Wow, only 18? Where does it show that? Is that based on new VIN numbers ? Thanks

Definitely NOT official but if you puzzle piece together the initial deliveries, VIN thread, and posts/sightings of Foundation series it looks to be safely under 25 currently. BUT there are a bunch in showrooms around the US that are FS so may be more getting delivered soon (hopefully)

Cool. I thought I saw a video and the guy showed a CT and the VIN ended in 000550 or close to that. Would that mean they are at least up to number 550?

There is a vin thread on this forum that does a WAY better job explaining VINs that I can, but basically a VIN does not mean a vehicle has been delivered because the VIN gets assigned early in the process. So 500 VIN does NOT mean 500 delivered but is a decent indication of 500 that are intended to be made in the not to distant future. (bad explanation but thread linked below should help)
