Ok just got some information. Advisor just told me the the location has moved since Saturday when he last checked but its till outside of Austin. It could be in the Rail Yard waiting to get loaded on the train. Question I have is only rail in that area is Union Pacific farthest city east it goes to is New Orleans. CSX is the rail mostly in the east coast. Does the car then transfer to CSX rail to go from New Orleans to Florida?? Or does it just get put on a Semi and driven the rest of the way?

All right, thank you for the update. I don’t know all of the logistics, but I can tell you that they said it gets to Jacksonville by train and then put on the semis and driven to the other destinations in Florida.

Haven’t heard anything since calling FM Sunday. I see Jjadmd above said yesterday the train needs to leave Dal. So I’m assuming he checked yesterday and nothing.. ugh

If you call your delivery center or showroom, they can ping it for you if you wanted to check on an update!

No movement today either. I am following up Friday. Word on the street is a major update is coming very soon to fix some instabilities that have popped up. My thinking is why cant the train move and then update be done later. Well if the problems can made worse if you drive the car that's why they aren't moving it because you wont be able to get it off the train if the instabilities are still there. Just a guess

I tried to call Ft Myers today to see if they could ping my truck. (December 16 order) After listening to a litany of recorded prompts, I finally got to a recording that says the voicemail is full. If anyone can coach me on tactics to reach a human at Ft Myers, please share.

So I have an old text message from Tesla for my last couple of deliveries. I contacted them via the message system. Sometimes you when you call Tesla Sales FM they sometimes forward you to any center that is open if they are busy. It can be someone in Tampa Miami etc. Anyone can ping the car using your RN apparently. I have that direct text message and it seems to work very well in communicating where the car is.

Hello everyone, I have been reading through these posts and have found it helpful of everyone that has been posting updates on their orders. Here goes mine.

I originally ordered on reveal night and received the option to purchase a founders edition on 12/21/23. An hour later I went ahead and ordered the AWD. On 12/22/2023 I received the email for Power share home backup. I filled out the email the same day. On 1/29/2024, like many others, I received the email verifying that I qualify for the home backup. Today 2/2/2024 I received my VIN ending in 1458. My RN is 11276. I live in southeast Florida. Good luck to everyone on this forum and hopefully I'll get the truck soon.

Wow ordered on same day Dec 21, no VIN yet. Went and drove the highland 3 at Tampa today though.
