States WITHOUT sales tax should double-check the financing tab of your Cybertruck order!

Just checked the financing tab (paying cash) of the app to find $7,639.69 in sales tax added to the price of my order. My state does not have sales tax, nor was a sales tax added to the order agreement, so it's odd that one shows up in the app. I've purchased two (2) other Teslas and never paid sales tax. I've texted Tesla and will follow up here once they respond.

As a side note to that, when i bought my P100 MX several years ago, i had a choice of picking it up in the city, Bellevue, WA, which had just over 10% sales tax. Or, having it delivered to my home in the country at 7.7%. Saved me over $3K to have it delivered.

Kjod, u simply changed delivery location?? That easy?? I have summer address in Montana (snowbird) , winter in Florida. I would like to have it delivered in Montana so I can use on ranch.

Hellz yeah! NH day 2 reservation holder here, and I'm SO glad to hear that NH is getting trucks already. I was worried that because we don't have any Tesla showrooms that we would be among the last states to get them. You just made my day.

Same problem... they are trying to charge me $7823.04. My tax rate is 2.9%. It should be nearly half what they are quoting.
