Changing Cybertruck order from AWD to Beast?

Has anyone tried to change an order from AWD to Beast or viceversa.

I just got to order mine and got AWD cause cant wait and range, but I got an itch inside for the Beast that may last forever!

Don’t know what to do!

I have ordered FS CB, waiting for VIN. When I messaged Tesla from the app asking whether I can switch to AWD, they said it's possible. I didn't do it as I was just enquiring.

If you are 100% sure, just message and tell them you want to switch, but I think you need to do it before VIN is assigned.

I had originally ordered an AWD but changed my mind to a CB. I went to dealership in Paramus NJ and they had my order changed in minutes. Not sure who they talked to but the sales guy went in the back and called someone. Received email confirmation and my Tesla app was changed within minutes.

Why not go to your order on Tesla.com, hit the Manage Order link and then call the number on your screen. They should be able to answer your questions.

Don’t you see a message icon next to account icon when you login into the app? I asked them there to switch to AWD. They confirmed it’s possible.

Many of us didn't get any message about our order, and you can't initiate a conversation there. Only reply to one. Some people also claimed they got a text from tesla about the order. I have gotten neither, and I expect many people similarly have not gotten any communication from a place you could reply to.

Correct! If the app messaging service is not enabled yet for your reservation, then you can call that number to reach out. I have done both for any of the CT questions I had in the past.

Got it! Call that 888 number. You can reach Tesla rep directly. There will be a long wait but they are reachable.
