I've got a Cybertruck in my shop - here are my impressions of moving it in a shop

It definitely has better visibility than my Model Y. However, it's kind of hard to know how close you are to things around you. So you can see everything, but it's kind of hard to know how close you are to them.

When you put it in drive the front bumper camera turns on. This tracks where the wheels are going with a white line similar to the backup camera. This is nice to have when going show, but it's a little disorienting as well. We put the cars into service mode so they are limited to 7mph. Even at these low speeds it's an interesting experience.

It turns tighter than a Y and a 3 and the S Plaid we have in.

Also, my tinter said the doors are easy to tint, the windshield is huge, like absolutely Massive! The roof is har to tint without having any gaps.

I heard the panels are glued to securing plastic strips to castings and middle section frame. Is this true? How's your take on water freezing between the panel and securing clip strips and possibly popping off panels? Is there room between rear Vault storage bin and casting? I ask because I was wondering If i could make that area tub/container bigger to fit more equipment? thanks

Fun fact: The inner door shell/frunk inner structure are stainless steel. Tesla stamps it using a thinner gauge SS than the exterior panels (1.8mm door skins, 1.4mm on other exterior panels).

This helps give the entire door extreme durability and outstanding corrosion resistance.

I'm sorry, I don't know how to answer that question lol. I was putting tint on one. I'll have another one next week. I took a lot of video and I'll see if I can edit out any private info and then post it

For anyone that does window tint I can tell you that the CT windshield is harder than a Model X windshield. The sunroof is the hardest sunroof to do as well. The windows are incredibly easy though. My tinter has done two CTs now and he said the second was much easier and was installed better. He says the brand of film makes a huge difference too. He couldn't tell me the name of the first brand because the shop he was at gave him the film outside the box. We use Xpel and he said it was way easier to work with.

Also, he said their is no way anyone can diy the front windshield on a CT and have it last because it's just so big and hard to do, so if anyone is thinking of doing it yourself, you could probably do the windows, but not the windshield.
