It's pretty obvious it's a so-called "journalist" looking to do a hit piece on Cybertruck to try to limit adoption rates. Big money interests are keen to paint the Cybertruck as undesireable, as a fad, and there are plenty of corrupt journalists willing to further that narrative.

All it takes is quotes from one or two Cybertruck "enthusiasts" turned haters to reinforce the false narrative that no one wants one, that it's a flop.

It's sad what journalism has become these days and the number of journalists who don't seem to have any ethical issues with becoming part of a disinformation campaign is troubling.
It’s so blatant.. I’m not shocked anymore.. that’s why they shall be met with ridicule

Where the Cybertruck blows away all varieties of the F-150 is in toughness and resistance to common forms of damage from hail, shopping carts, construction sites, baseballs, paint chips and scratches, dents and door dings, scratches from off-roading, etc. It turns out the "Ford tough" doesn't mean much.
Dang, I didn't know door dings kept ICE trucks from working

Took delivery 1/22. Love every bit of the truck. Really enjoying it. By far the best tesla so far, and I have owned all of them except a Y.
Don't worry, journalists are not looking for quotes like that. They are trying to find unhappy owners.

They will keep looking until they find two, just enough to write a Cybertruck buyer's remorse story.

i have a hard time believing CT is (or will be) so in demand that people will pay over sticker for a used one. i'd like to believe it, but i just don't feel it. "but there's 2 million orders".
100% depends on the production ramp. If Tesla only makes 25,000 units this year, you better believe that the demand for used models will be extremely high in 2025. Of course there are not 2 million real orders for this truck. However, there are a real 100,000 orders that will pay $100,000 right now to get one.

Once you can buy a Cybertruck new like the current 3 and Y's, then of course the prices for used will sink like a rock. We have awhile for that to happen.

It's hardly a "tough" truck when a Chevy Spark can do over $1000 damage to the adjacent truck simply by having the wind catch their door.

I never said "tough" was synonymous with "reliable". My F-150 has been surprisingly reliable, even if it only has 50K miles on it. But it's also surprisingly fragile. It doesn't take much to cause thousands in damage.

I understand what you're saying, but I don't know that the CT is really a superior solution. Because what you gain in pedestrian damage protection, you lose in higher costs for minor collision damage. an f150 will have a far cheaper bill for swapping a door or body panel. You can swap the whole bed if needed.

Fixed that for you, since ICE/EV argument is irrelevant. (y)
Those were not promised specs, those were forward-looking statements.

But those were in the past. They don't represent today.

And the only thing that you sound like is a broken record or little kid.

It is what it is.

Nothing annoys adults more than a kid being correct.

Are you really in that many accidents that you're worried about recurring cost of panel replacements? If you take a truck loan the lender requires you to have insurance that covers that stuff. And panel replacement is going to be more than any deductible, regardless of what kind of body panels it has. Some lighter impacts that require panel replacement on a Ford will leave no trace on the Cybertruck.

A lot of your posts seem to be throwing shade on Cybertruck and Tesla without justification. And your user name seems to take a swipe at the design of the truck also. Are you really a fan, or just a pretender?

I don’t think it’s a journalist, I think it’s a flipper

Wtf would a journalist care about “buyer remorse” or “circumstantial life choices”, or their “tummy sensation “.

I think you'll have to define "without justification". I'm just a normal person (your target market to grow tesla, btw) with a balanced perspective, its why I stand out here. The ICE cultists don't like me either.

Also, I'm a designer. I like the design of the truck. I pre-ordered during the live event. My name is taking a swipe at people that don't like the design. People who say things like that could not draw the cybertruck accurately from memory, as you can see in my profile pic.

If I started reading said article I’d immediately trash it.

What’s more funny is the knee-jerk “must be a journalist response”
