I think we're missing a 12/10 waiting room thread! RN1127, ordered 12/9 am in Southern California. Anyone from 12/10 receive a VIN yet?

I think I made a 12/10, 12/11 one and it died real fast lol

Since we were in the first wave most people ordered 12/8 and 12/9.

I somehow missed mine and ended up ordering 12/11.

What's crazy is someone from SOcal ordered 12/21 and got a VIN. I'm officially confused

Yeah, in typical Tesla fashion they seem to vaguely be going in order, and then there are oddballs here or there (totally regular people) that seem to cut the line. I remember the model 3 rollout being similar.
I think I must have missed your thread! totally agree, probably a ton of people ordered 12/8 and 12/9. I kept on waffling on whether I should order right away and then figured I was already having a mid-life crisis so may as well order lol

Definitely the highest vin we've seen. What a shame we lost the vin activation tracker. Would give us some kind of idea what rate of production they're at now.

No vin yet, mine says marina del Rey, did you change it or did they change pick up location?

I'm not the right person to ask, but it seems that somehow cybertruck vins are being shielded from the previous search process on NHTSA. The vins just don't have any indication if they exist or are active anymore.

I didn't do anything on my end, it just popped up as the Long Beach location on the MVPA. It might be slightly closer indeed than MDR for us, but for our previous 2 Teslas we didn't get to choose either.
