Finally we are having nice sunny days in NorCal and noticed CT gets hot very quickly under the sun due to the large windshield and its angle.
I plan to tint very upper part of windshield. any other solution you can think of ? do not say just turn on A/C to max.

White dash mat. I am planning to also re-upholster all the seats in white leather (was planning that for aesthetics before you mentioned the solar oven effect - all the more reason).

My DeLorean was very hot inside in the Florida summer heat. I tinted the windshield with 85% ceramic (practically clear) and the side windows with 20% ceramic. This dramatically reduced the amount of solar heating. This car has a similar flat relatively large windshield. I plan to do the same with my CT.

With tint, you get what you pay for, and you’ll want to check your local laws.

Worth considering a white dash is incredibly reflective and could possibly be a nuisance. (I haven't even been inside a Cybertruck, let alone one with a white dash mat, but I did try something similar on a different vehicle before). :)

I only pay about $150 when I have my front 2 windows tinted to match the rears of other cars. I wouldn't think a simple, yet large, front window would break the bank. I plant to tint it clear immediately.

Tesla’s glazing is already supposed to address this

before you spend on additional films, have a reputable tent shop use their meters to determine how much blocking (of all UV spectrums) the existing glazing is already accomplishing

That should help you hone in on whether the existing glazing has some specific deficiency that can be addressed by adding a new film

there are some types of heat transmission that no film will address.

...and then report back so the rest of us know too. :D

"Solar oven" - I wonder if we can cook eggs and beacon on the front panel during summer :)

I think this works for me, if the clear ceramic coating can do the job. I prefer not to use dark tint if its all possible. I am already engaged with wrap/tint show for panels and side windows, will check with them about this.

Seeing a CT parked in a compact spot is amazingly awesome. It looks more like CT activism, I love it!!

The Chargepoint network seems like it's pretty damn big! I work at Google and we have them at all our campuses. That said, it maxes out at 6.6kW's, takes all day for my Model Y.
