Any north east coast states getting vins or information on when we can start getting some deliveries or trucks here?

Sucks but I feel there is no sense of when this would happen. We will get ours by the fall I’m guessing if the goal is to get Texas and California situated first. Sucks. And so far the average for these TX/CA people getting their vin has been two months from their order date.

I don't mind either way, I configured on 1/17 so I'm just adding to my deposit every week. But what was cool was the guy I did the trade in offer with didn't push it through yet, when I contacted him he replied back really fast. Told me it's only good for 30 days so he didn't want to push it through until I got my VIN. I thought that was pretty cool of him. Also I'm a Rhode Island CT AWD reservation holder.

I think the NorthEast has more reservations than you might think. Densely populated areas. Lots of off-road/snowy conditions and people interested in EVs. I think, outside of CA, TX, and CO, we are in a region with dense numbers of cybertruck interest.

in another thread there is mention of a “truckload of cybertrucks” coming to New Jersey in late February. Of course it was told to another member by a CS person but it warrants speculation

(RN11275xxxx.....Ordered 12/16......FS AWD......Estimated January to March delivery.....located in VA.....still VIN-less :()

I am getting tired of waiting. I have seen some people in CA/TX who had a later RN and ordered after me took delivery.

This is not making sense anymore. If you say the first wave (12/8) are mostly CA/TX orders. They are close to the factory for serviceability in case something goes wrong. That's fine, but what's up with FL order? Why are FL orders getting prioritized? Just because some states (CA/TX/FL) have more Tesla fans or buyers, it doesn't make fans and buyers from other states less important. Besides it was Tesla sending out invites to those state first.

In the old days before Giga Berlin, Tesla Shanghai prioritized oversea deliveries in the early weeks of any quarter, just to get those cars on the ships early so they won't miss quarterly delivery by the time the ship got to the destination, then focus on local deliveries in China and neighboring countries towards the end of a quarter. That made sense! In that case, they should have CTs on rail currently to Northeast and Northwest right now or not already arrived, with a target delivery for the end of this month in these regions, but we hear little from service centers on upcoming shipment, nor did we have a bunch of 2nd wave or even 3rd wave buyers getting their VINs right now. This doesn't add up now. Except:

1. they knew the Jan -March delivery estimate is a miss and chose not to say anything yet.
2. they could get these CT delivered in 2-3 weeks or less after issuing VINs.
3. and they still foresee significant production ramp within this month.

It is frustrating. I ordered 12/28 and haven’t heard a word since. I’m in NJ.

One more thing I wanted to point out: I have a friend, again in VA, who ordered his FS AWD on January 13 and was provided with the same delivery estimate of January to March, and based on what I know, any orders after that weekend received an updated delivery estimate of February to April. So, if my friend could take delivery at the end of March, would it mean I could possibly get mine at the end February or Early March because I placed the order literally one month ahead of him? If that's the case, should I get my VIN by now?

Where abouts are the people in VA with orders? I am in the Leesburg area of Northern VA, ordered on the 16th of December and am still waiting for a VIN (said January through March on the order). I spoke with the Tyson's Corner Tesla folks who were at the DC auto show and according to them, no customer deliveries have gone through the Tysons Corner Tesla dealership, which is my closest. They did say a few employees have orders and are still waiting for their VIN's.

I'm in Northern VA I haven't ordered yet, and my invite still says Feb-Apr delivery for the AWD version. The Beast still says mid-late 2024.

I'm going to hold out for the Beast. I'll hold out as long as I can to see when non-Foundation versions will come out.
