~7% of vehicles sold in US are EV, and ~2%(1.2%EV) of current cars on the road are EV.

There is a long way to go in terms of efficiency, economics, and political engagement. That being said I am rooting for EVs, for many reasons.

And I’m sure OEM see this coming.

Ran Poison Spider in November... only 1 other vehicle over the 5 hour ride. It was wonderful. Know your times to run the trails.

You may be right, but it rewards people who are already making money (I.e., YouTubers) by using their broad exposure to ask people to give them referrals whereas the rest of us might have a friend here and there over the course of years to get a referral, and inevitably Tesla doesn’t give points when we do get referrals. It is only those with a daily presence that can get referrals over a short period of time. Tesla is thus doing this on purpose and it boils my blood. Yesterday I watched @dirtytesla tell the world that he cashed in on the 30,000 point offer and then spent a bunch of time justifying it. I wish he had kept his mouth shut and kept the whole thing to himself. I saw it as boasting and there is enough of that kind of crap in the world.

I’m so trolled. Just let us pay an extra $10k to expedite the Cyberbeast. The wait is excruciating Since I ordered the CT in 2019, I’ve purchased 5 Teslas, a Tesla Solar Roof, 3 Powerwalls and even preordered a Roadster. I also bought a Model Y for mom and one for my wife, convinced countless amounts of friends and family to buy one, referred an Uber Driver and received no points from any of these activities ugh

I’m bitching about the negative effect of this referral program on other CT reservation holders in a state like Virginia or Ohio.

Why not all reservation holders? You are only complaining because you cannot get referral credits? Like any normal person can…

Yep, this seems almost like a grift.....first asking waiting buyers to buy an inflated price to get your truck early, then trying to push early delivery if you use your points. Just make the truck already and stop trying to up-sell your customers.

What a BS tactics for sure. I have a CTCB order from OR and eagerly waiting. The only reason I’m still here and commenting is I liked the CT too much. I cannot skip it now. This is probably true for a lot of you folks and my sympathies to you. I just wished they didn’t do this kind of trickery like many car dealers do.
