Tesla has launched three new Cybertruck wrap colors.

Slip Grey - $6,000

Love to see Tesla offering this considering I have seen quotes from $7,250 - 10,000 for PPF and tinting in the Bay Area.

Tesla needs to update their warranty. Will not cover you if they fuck up the install (1 year warranty).

Warranty
The Tesla Parts, Body & Paint Repair Limited Warranty begins on the purchase date of the part(s), and coverage extends for a period of 12 months or 12,500 miles, which ever comes first. Specific categories of parts have unique warranty coverage periods:

• Sheet metal: Limited lifetime
• Clear Protection Film**: 10 years
• Color Paint Film**: 5 years

**Only available in the United States. Excludes defects in workmanship (installation), which has a warranty of 12 months or 12,500 miles (20,000 km), whichever comes first.​

How have wraps on trucks used as trucks lasted over time? $6000 is a steep price for cosmetic appeal if it only looks perfect for a year or 2. Good news is that the underlying stainless will probably last longer than the rest of the truck. I will wrap only if looking at my truck causes me more than $6000 of indigestion.

Tesla has historically chosen free and more expensive colors for the cars. Just like most every other manufacturer.
