Wow, that's some serious damage. I guess the aero cover being softer didn't help. Tesla will fix it, good on them being proactive.

Looks like someone who either was never going to use them or bought after market wheels trying to make a buck.

I don’t know who his target market would be cause Tesla stopped delivering trucks with them after they were aware of the problem. New owners will still receive them when they’re back in stock. People who received their trucks before then already have them.

Crazy to still see pictures and videos of them with the covers on, really hope people pull those so their sidewalls do not get eaten up, those are NOT cheap tires.

I guess some of the footage could be old, but some of it is livestreamed and so the last week or so.

Because they tried several different types, the one that shipped with the trucks had a softer compound on the edges to solve this, but it didn't.
