Limit of 1 Foundation Edition per Account?

Hello everyone,

I'd like to ask for your help. On March 7th, I was fortunate enough to receive my Cybertruck here in Orlando, Florida. The unit I received is the Dual Motors version, which I intend to keep for my wife.

In addition, I have another reservation, RN11315, made on November 12, 2019, for a Tri Motor AWD version. I'm curious to know if I could also receive a Foundation Edition for this reservation. I've heard rumors that Tesla will limit one Foundation Edition per account. Does anyone have more concrete information about this?

I had a similar situation. I reserved 2 and configured both a AWD model and a Beast, both with $1k deposits. Tesla contacted me in late December and indicated I can only reserved one Foundation Series. They indicated they would refund me the 1k which I finally received in February.

Despite not being able to pre-order a FS edition, the Beast pre-order will stay in the backlog. I would not be surprised if Tesla revisits their decision on only "1" FS once they have no more FS orders.

Wait. When FS is done, order regular CB with that reservation, ahead of most people. This is why I ordered AWD FS now, and will use my second 2019 reservation for the beast later, after it's improved, and hopefully get that locked in $7500 FSD instead of $20K for FS. Hopefully will be able to flip the AWD FS for decent $ at that time to someone further down the waiting list (after the 1yr no-sell BS).

Who knows, but ~9 months from now is my guess. Give or take 6 months for Tesla time...

I think odds are better than average, that non foundation trucks will be delivered this year. Probably as production run rate exceeds 50K per year. If they allow you to configure, do it, and then if they say you can't have a second foundation, ask them if they can leave the order active for a first non foundation. I bet you'll have it by Christmas. The only down side is, you'll feel like you over paid for the AWD.

Pretty sure that they are doing one truck per person until the line disappears. It's only fair.
