If it is energized, it won't have exposed pins. That's just the way things are.But you can put a cord into it that does can't you?
Any outlet that they provide can have a cable with exposed pins put into it if the user decides to do that
Sure, you can make your own suicide cord, code doesn't prevent people from being idiots.
But you aren't going to find a corporation doing so. Why would they even want to?
