24hour sitting idle about 1-2% a day
24hours sitting idle with sentry mode 6-7% a day
Cold weather will result in more drain
You have the Cybertruck?

I'm in the same boat of having my CT parked for 4-5 days at the time at an airport garage with no charging. Is the drain +-1% per day with Sentry mode OFF? I am not concerned with vandalism as much as having enough juice to make it home without charging.

Yea there is always some maintenance drain with EVs and Teslas even without Sentry mode, they need power to run computers, etc. Usually not a real big deal unless it is cold, then it can be significant.

Here is my workaround if it helps:
Airport parking lots are secure, they have cameras, no need for sentry.
In case you forget to put Sentry off regularly, add the parking to favorites and change the setting in the car to auto turn Sentry off for favorites.
You should lose very little charge and I would charge to as much as possible(upto 80%) and you should be good for 2 to 3 weeks.
Don't check your CT on the app while on vacation frequently, let it go to deep sleep.

I park free in the employee parking lot. My question is just about sentry mode and the battery drain. I appreciate the info, it just isn't something useful to me. It would be really helpful to know how much battery a CT burns in 24 hours of Sentry but nobody that has one has posted anything yet.
Here is what I found:

With sentry mode on I would loose 1.358 miles per hour in range on my Cybertruck while my wife's Model X would only loose 0.397 miles per hour.

With sentry mode off I would loose 0.372 miles per hour in range on my Cybertruck while my wife's Model X would only loose 0.117 miles per hour.

Basically turning off sentry mode drastically reduces the amount of phantom drain. However, the Cybertruck still has 3X the amount of phantom drain over the Model X. The data was taken at the same exact dates/times with the cars parked next to each other on the same driveway.

That is a bummer. I was hoping for less drain. Good to know though. Thank you very much.

And Tesla has pretty well slowly optimized drain on each of the cars, it just takes a few releases to do so.

My AWD Cybertruck uses nearly 10% a day with sentry mode on. That's insane! Nearly 10kwh a day! I'm making YouTube videos of my experience. This is a very unexpected additional cost of ownership!

Wow that is the highest I've heard reported so far. I wonder if the low voltage - 48v issues we have seen in other posts with the errors popping up and the vehicle becoming undriveable is also somehow contributing to the extra battery drain per day?

Yeah... they're either crypto mining with our trucks or training their AI with it. It's crazy! That needs to be fixed! Imagine paying $3.50 a day to let your truck sit in the driveway... I need a way to put solar on the truck to keep it charging while idle...

Expect it to be optimized. They've already mentioned it, I believe.

Yikes. That is disappointing. I can leave it off where I park but I like the comfort of having it on while I am on trips. Especially will all the hate and attention CT gets. I saw one already got vandalized.
