How many People have Ordered in December and Still dont have a VIN?

Portland, Maine (No stores, pickup is in Peabody Mass probably, roughly 100 miles away)

I imagine they are prioritizing people close to stores because of the high likelihood of issues at this stage of manufacturing. They don't want to pay for towing 100+ miles.

Seeing how many Cybertrucks are being "finished" outside in Joe's drone videos, and not in the outbound lot is giving me comfort that I'm glad I'm not an early vin.

It appears pretty much every truck coming off the line still needs a lot of manual finessing and fixes before they can move them to the delivery lots.

Based on Volume, I imagine that over the next 2 weeks things will significantly improve. Hoping to see less holdup in the validation lot, and faster transition to the delivery lot.

Sorry ,you are correct, wrong word never expect a "promise" from Tesla. Wildly differing dates on what is delivered. I had a drive motor that was supposed to be a 6 week delay on order, came in 2 days after I flew home and left the car in Ca. At so many levels they are clueless as an organization about what they are doing. Poor communication.

You make excellent point I had not considered before reading your post. Especially since watching the review by Marques Brownlee and his "door gap" that Elon Musk himself addressed this morning. WoW!! I would hate to be the Tesla Center that let that go out to the customer considering it was a 5 minute fix. (Out of Spec had similar issue with door gap that was corrected before he left the Tesla Center and he said it was a very quick adjustment.) The Tesla Center in Mississippi is the only one in the state. I think your analysis is quite probalbly correct. I know Elon most likely became super annoyed at the Tesla Center for not doing a better preparation of the CyberTruck before delivering it to Brownlee.

I hope not, but, I suppose it's better than the "Won't get to Order in 2024" club. Haha, I'm amazed how grown men, many of us middle-aged and beyond are so passionate about getting our CyberTruck. It's good to feel like a kid at Christmas again!

Ordered mine 12/9.

Completed all steps through Financing.

STILL no VIN.

Financing EXPIRED a month ago, and will have to do another credit pull when I finally get a VIN.

After asking Tesla Irvine twice, they don't even see where my Cyberbeast is in the queue nor can they give me any dates when I might know.

Waaah - (realize it's kind of a 1st World Problem and I'm actually lucky, but Tesla... REALLY?!)

I think the form on here showed one MN delivery. I put Maplewood for delivery.
