Hi,
I know some of you out there, like me, look to the data as a way to help gauge their own delivery so I am hoping this might help a few of you.

  1. Reservation Number: RN1127797xx
  2. Reservation Date: 11/21/2019
  3. Order number: RN1127797xx (same as reservation number)
  4. Order email invitation: 12/26/2023
  5. Order execution date: 12/26/2023
  6. VIN assigned = 100 days later from Order on 4/4/2024
  7. Arrived at Service Center Bernalillo 4/8 (4 days after VIN assignment) - accurately predicted by Service Center (Bernalillo, NM)
  8. I was offered only Tuesday (tomorrow as I type this on Monday), or Saturday for pickup. Which do you think I picked? ;)
  9. Delivery Date: 4/9 (five days after VIN). Fingers crossed.

I am typing this on 4/8 - please bear that in mind. I'll provide updates if needed. (changes to the schedule, any delivery issues, etc)
I am happy to try to answer any questions some of you might have...and good luck with your order & delivery! - Cold Truth

PS. for the record, I don't believe I am the first delivery in NM but I can ask the rep here in Albuquerque what he knows. There's a service Center in Santa Fe also and I know several members of this august body reside there)

Update 4/8/24: Delivery is scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday 4/9) at 2:30 PM MT in Bernalillo, NM. My Tesla app automatically updated the “delivery appointment” screen an hour after the manager texted me. Nota Bene: I did drop into the Service Center the day I got my VIN last week since it’s only 5 miles away, and chatted with the mgr, asking the usual delivery questions. We confirmed my SMS with a test text and he used it today (Monday 4/8) to share the news that the truck arrived. Note that for Bernalillo, they do their deliveries on Tuesdays or Saturdays only, according to what I heard. So I chose Tuesday vs having the CT spend the week there. (duh). So, 100 days from order to VIN, and 5 days from VIN to delivery (fingers crossed). I did get an SMS from Tesla HQ that “you have a new message from a Tesla Advisor about your CT order. Read and replay at [HTML link opened app].” So even if you don’t monitor your Tesla App, you should get a text within an hour of any changes if your experience equates with mine. Pictures and additional details tomorrow (4/9) evening. Note: Insurance with VIN is required by law in NM, not just evidence of auto insurance, so I called my agent and had the CT put on the policy effective tomorrow, then uploaded a screenshot of the PDF to the app. For some reason, I could not choose a file, only a photo, in the Tesla app insurance section. I will make final payment once I inspect the truck. I’m not worried about a few defects, including panel gaps. I’ll note them along with the mgr for a future service call if needed. I’m just allowing Tesla to bear the risk. My choice. Yours might be different, and that’s fine. Different risk tolerances etc. Cheers.

Update 4/9/24: I took delivery of my Cybertruck today, 4/9/2023 with a 2:30 PM Appointment at the Bernalillo Service Center, just north of Albuquerque. I counted TEN (!) Cybertrucks in the parking lot and there were supposedly 14 (!!!) total at the facility. It took two hours for them to match buyers to their Cybertrucks and process all the transactions. Paying was very simple through the app with their “plaid” app that linked your bank info to Tesla for payment.

Fit and FInish was excellent, no panel gaps or wrinkles on interior fabric. I thought my original rug mats were missing because I didn’t see them in the bed, but they had just installed the all-weather rubber mats on top of the original rug (more of an interesting “weave” than rug, actually).

It took all of two seconds for me to adapt to the turn signal buttons on the “squircle” steering wheel, perhaps because I’ve been riding motorcycles for 32 years, each with different methods of turn signals. The regen felt stronger than my 2013 Model S or 2017 Model 3. And I like it that way. Maneuvering is amazing. The 4-wheel steering and SBW allowed me to tuck it in my garage from an odd angle that I was “certain” would require a three-point type of turn. Nope. She swung her tail around nicely. It’s a tight fit in my garage, but not as insane as I have seen in other posts and videos. the ride was compliant but not too soft. It felt just about right for me. I’m very excited to drive her tomorrow. Oh, and yeah, aside from people walking up to your car in parking lots, get ready for the “iPhone in front of their face” as drivers film you.

AWD? My RN is lower than yours, but I’m still waiting on a van however mine is a beast so I’m guessing that’s why I’m still waiting.

Yes, AWD. Thanks for the question - I edited my original post to include that. I agree, the CyberBeast seems to be a slower ramp and rollout than the AWD. I know the wait can be frustrating, but your day will come, and we expect a full report! :) Good luck!

Update: the destruction of my CyberTruck has already begun on day one. My rescue kittens were all over the truck last night. I can see their footprints on the front windscreen. Let’s not even talk about the damage my two, 100 pound German shepherds will do! ?

Were you able to skip ahead with points, stock options, being famous ?? It makes me wonder if the whole "take your RN# and subtract from 112744100" is total bs since that puts me in the low 24,000s and you in the 35,600 range... are they hiding a bunch of CTs somewhere? Last I heard based on VIN#s is that there are around 6000 CT built... The math doesn't add up...

PS my info:

  1. Reservation Number: RN11276xxx
  2. Reservation Date: 11/21/2019
  3. Order number: RN11276xxx (same as reservation number)
  4. Order email invitation: 12/26/2023 (didn't see it until the 28th ?)
  5. Order execution date: 12/28/2023 (verified/confirmed in an email from Tesla on the 28th but app says 29th....)
  6. VIN assigned = Nope, 104 days and waiting (as of 4/10/24)
I'm eager and acting like my 2 & 4 year old about wanting it NOW however I know that every day that goes by more and more bugs should be ironed out and I'm ok with that!

You can have my Bernillilo delivery. Cybertruck just hasn't lived upon to my expectations other than I thought I wouldn't have it until fall 2024 when I ordered in 2019. This thread reminded me to check my App. Looks like there was a VIN if I accepted their order changes. I did not accept their changes and I called and cancelled my order. Hopefully within 3-5 years we'll have an EV truck that meets my needs.

I did not do the stock bit to skip the line, nor am I a celebrity (except to my pets and maybe my girlfriend, LOL). I’m not an employee or influencer either. The ramp is starting though. 14 units in ABQ in a single day tells me that. Not sure about Santa Fe, NM. Hang in there.

100 days is a long time to wait, glad it sounds like you got one of the better build quality trucks and your patience was rewarded!

first of all congrats, sick ride.

Also, please take a pic in front of Walter Whites house! ;)
LOL, that’s a good idea. I haven’t even been there yet. I moved here from the Sacramento, CA metro area in 2021 (or I would have had my CT for two months now, LOL). I bet there will be a bunch of great photo ops from many of us over the next few months and I’m looking forward to it. ?

He cant… the lady that lives there assaults people who do it. If she catches you taking photos close by, she comes out and starts cussing you out and threatens you. There are Youtube channels that have some funny video on her.
