You seem to not understand Supercharging. Is that because you've never owned a Tesla?

Nobody who knows how to "get 'er done" charges to 80% while they wait. Cybertruck will be like other Tesla in that it will charge the quickest from 10% to 60%. I'm often charging to 50%-60%, occasionally to 65%-70% (depending upon the specifics), almost never to 80%, at least not while I'm waiting. Supercharging to 80% would only be if I was eating a sit down lunch or dinner or for whatever reason I wasn't ready to hit the road yet.

Oh, I've also charged to 80% because I was leaving a normal Supercharging route and entering into a "charging desert" but those situations are shrinking as quickly as the Supercharger Network is growing. Elon understands that for EV adoption to reach 100% he must continue to expand charging options.

I live in the Western US and I have many choices as to which Superchargers I stop at the vast majority of the time these days. The Supercharger Network is a lot more dense than it was 6 years ago when we purchased our first Tesla. It's been growing at an astonishing rate. Even in 2018 Interstate travel was painless but, yeah, it was not uncommon for the Supercharger to pick you. That rarely happens to me now. In 2023 alone, the Supercharger Network in N. America added more superchargers than even existed in 2018. Just last year!

Have you done Interstate travel by Superchargers recently? I pass up more than I stop at and I'm generally only doing 15-20 minute stops.

Yes. All vehicles, with these stickers attached, will become FS and be worth an additional $20K, so maybe they are worth it..

Trim packages on cars depreciate almost entirely after the first year. I fully expect FS to be on par or cheaper then the standard versions by the time they start hitting the market (depending on the initial average build quality of the FS units, how many they make, and if they ever hit mass production of the standard versions)

They will only be worth more in 5 or 10 years once they become collectors items but not right away.

At best the sub-1000 vins might have some residual value but as we’ve seen they are plowing right through that for foundation series. While I’m also inclined to agree with you there is more risk then I usually consider in an investment. Best for me to assume the value of the truck with be $0 at the end of ten years and get better sleep.

There’s no evidence for this. Given how close the curve matches the MYAWD, my suspicion it is simply the limits of what the 4680s can safely do. But we’ll see.

Well, ALL battery charging is based on software controlling the power lol. The question is really "are they nerfing the charge rate to be extra conservative until they have more data"?

Well, It can be hardware limited too. (LOL?) But, the claim in the video is that, yes they are being conservative with charging rates at this time.

OP, could you give us your thoughts on the door panels. Any idea why it's in different color even when it's wrapped? Some wraps look perfect and some are not. Is it because of bad alignments? This is my #1 issue with the Cybertruck.

Could you take some pictures of your? Here is an example of one that is wrapped and still have different color tones.
