Let me know what y'all think...
All data that is questionable and hasn’t been fixed is in RED font. I figured I’d make a post with this info get y’alls feedback and then post the spreadsheet with the suggested changes, then get additional feedback tweak then re-upload.
Duplicate Usernames:
Sometimes 2+ duplicate usernames with CT info (even my own). I believe most of these are due to the fact that the updating of the spreadsheet through the forum form isn’t instant making people think their info didn’t get uploaded. This is what happened to me and after my second attempt I realized that we are supposed to comment in the thread that we have added our info so that the owner of the spreadsheet would make the changes manually. Makes sense to mitigate fake data, trolls screwing with the data, etc. but caused dupes. I’m not immediately wiping out dupes b/c some people may have more than one on order. I’m leaving that up to the user to clear out their dupes or ask me to clear out their dupes.
Dates:
Some dates are wrong either in format (11/21/0019) or a non-compliant year (e.g. ordered in 2000) or both. For incorrect formatted years I did the best I could to fix them. Most were easy fixes like 0019 à 2019 but others are less obvious needing a more in-depth review (e.g. ordered 1/1/2000. Do I change to 1/1/2020,2021,2022,2023??? For those few outliers I know it doesn’t really matter so ill probably change it to the most logical oldest date possible). Some dates I’m ignorant about and need more info to know if they are dates that fall within the possible date range (e.g. date range for $100 reservations 11/21/2019-????). When was the cutoff date? Was the start date 11/21/2019 or were some people able to put their $100 down earlier?
INFO I don’t currently care about (and I think most of you would agree):
Basically the “FSD Ordered with Res”, “Foundation Series”, “Model Reserved in 2019”, & “FSD columns”. When it comes to the stats that I care about these are irrelevant to me. What people reserved in 2019 vs actually ordered doesn’t produce relevant stats for what I doing. To me what they have on ordered is all that matters. Foundation Series – aren’t they all FS for right now?
Received VIN/Delivered Included:
I think I want to combine the data from the 2 separate spreadsheets into one master spreadsheet. That should make comparing the 3 statuses easier (ordered no vin, ordered vin assigned, delivered). May add actual delivery date column.
