If only we were advanced enough to have a system where we could punch our vin numbers in and know if we were part of the recall... Tesla can do a lot of bullshit and we all just have to tolerate it, but this is a potential safety issue. The time for these childish games are over, open up the vin recall server, period.

So the member that crashed into a pole was telling the truth
That was my thought, he said he took his foot off the accelerator and it didn't slow down and hit the brake but it was too late.

Someone said the stop order in relation to the accelerator pedal was poor lubricant or wrong lubricant used. So that would make sense if the pedal when he released it didn't come back up and the accelerator basically continued to hold its position he was expecting it to slow down and it didn't he hit the brake but now the truck was still putting power to the electric motors while he's breaking and it was too late and hit the pole. Tesla would have seen that data immediately upon review. He has also said that Tesla has not given him any of the information about the crash.

See it's looking like the OP on that one was vindicated.

I will add that

Got a call from my Dad yesterday asking for help. His CyberBeast was placed into service yesterday afternoon after it broke down on the freeway. Luckily he was able to pull over to the shoulder.

“Critical steering issue”

less than 100 miles on the truck

For Sunday I had planned on taking a trip with my wife and kid in our new cybertruck and having Grandma and Grandpa follow us up in their Cybertruck

now we both don’t have cybertrucks ?

A few hours after I dropped off Dads truck at service I received the text message cancelling my Sunday morning delivery.

super bummed
ah man!! That sucks so much! glad your dad is safe.

Total bummer.

Woof. I was a super douche to that dude on this MB. ?

Mea culpa.

If it turns out he was correct, I’ll extend super apologies and eat as much crow as needed.

Yikes!

?An arbitrary and very specific timeline based on speculation is literally not common sense.
This is Tesla. Everything takes extra time. Look at people who paid $250k in 2017 for the Roadster. Look at Cybertruck’s two year delay. Look at how they are handling the early delivery for shareholder program

If Tesla says to expect a 1+ week delay, we are looking at a month minimum. They aren’t going to ship out these new parts to service centers around America, it will be trickled in. They need to also fix the ones stuck in Austin for over a month, and need the parts to keep the production line running.

They just rescheduled a service appointment I had for Monday I’m guessing to deal with whatever is going on with the new trucks.

Questions never hurt anyone, but prejudice without facts, makes fools of scholars. ;)

There is one more issue, relating to the electric brake booster failing and not having a backup power, as discussed in in the Critical Error threads. Could also be why "the pedal didn't brake like usual".
