So from 2021-2023 there was so much back and forth activity here. Now since Nov 23 all that is posted is influencers and mostly talking about deliveries in XX state. My point is there are dozen or so post a day with zero replies, where are all the Pre-CT Owners gone? But there are a few that get a lot of attention but not as much as it used to be. LOL.

Seems like a natural transition of this forum into an actual owner's club. I welcome all the posts about the*actual* truck, issues, tips, findings, etc.

@Administrator Maybe we need a sub forum / section dedicated to reservation holders who are yet to receive their truck....and move all the pre-delivery threads into that? Seems like a natural way to clean up the site and make it better for both types of users.

Edit: I guess we already kind of have that:
Reservations, Ordering, Production, Purchase/Lease, Delivery

But it seems a little specific. I envision that section encompassing other topics than just the ones listed.

Lots of day trippers coming through CTOC that push thread numbers and posts, but also means the conversation groups are diluted.

I've been off a fair bit because of it, but I suppose conjecture has been replaced with more facts, so theres less assumptions to defend too.

But there seems to be some CT issues that need to be fixed still.

@JBee Interesting post.

I had almost the same thought a couple of days ago except I was wondering why there isn’t a section for only those who actually have a a cybertruck right now?

In my opinions, one of the biggest problems with board these days is that there are four members that don’t even have a Cybertruck at this point who are a source of antagonism, insults, and general assholishness that are driving people away.

This board is dying on the vine.

It is getting hard to see actual content from owners. On other forums what's new is actual new content most of the time yet not around the Cybertruck. The content is more mature and away from ordering. Ours is so new it is bound to be ordering and delivery orientated.

Here it is hard to find new content outside of when is my truck being built, and why haven't I got a vin.(Exaggerating)

Maybe in time it doesn't matter. As more trucks are likely to be delivered.

Dude, you were insulting people who did have a truck this last week.

Let's not pot-and-kettle this.

Cyber Fatigue, everything is known... Only Prod Ramp issues and OTA updates will create any real drama. Tesla obviously pumping them out as fast as they can.

People have already pushed the CT to the limit of what it can mostly do off-road and towing... And while haters use that against the CT and Tesla, the CT continues to prove it's the most Jack of all trades vehicle made in several decades. Providing options for almost all situations, while being the first mass production scaled drive by wire technology.

Most hate revolves around People being mad about the Price, or Priced out of it, but the CT is actually priced right near the competition and will not go down without lower pricing from other vendors. The CT release destroyed the Lightning sales when they were already struggling along with all other vehicle sales. Ford recently started adding more deals and discounts to liquidate lightning inventory. The Silverado EV is a paper launch product, designed for fleet businesses and already saw 10k price drop because it likely saw low interest by enterprise. Will prob not see a good production ramp under the current climate and demands. The Hummer EV is overengineered vaporware. Rivian appears to have leveraged peak EV Utility hype and gotten a boost of interest during this CT release. The luxury EV sports utility battle right now appears to mainly be centered around Rivian Products vs Cybertruck.

So yeah the dust has now settled and the CT is only going to get better. Sold out for the foreseeable future as people still post on forums thinking they're going to see them discounted sometime in 2025... Which is very unlikely. But you can imagine the Foundation pricing must eventually end, but the minute it does, the demand will skyrocket. Especially if it actually qualifies for a Tax incentive, which is completely unknown for future years.

At this point it's just reservation/order/vin posts or haters trolling everytime.they see one have an issue.

People come here mostly for enjoyment and good information. Hard stop.

There's a vocal army of Tesla haters trying to throw a damp rag on our enjoyment by casting a negative pall over every discussion, especially if it starts out as a positive discussion.

Example: Three Cybertrucks with different drivers successfully navigate Hell's Revenge. Haters say "It's easy, anyone could do that".

Example: Someone mentions they are getting better highway efficiency numbers than some popular YouTuber got. Haters say "Why are you driving like grandma?"

Their goal is to make it no fun to particiapte, to take the shine off Cybertruck Owners forum. Most commonly, they even pretend to be Cybertruck fans so people don't catch on to their destructive techniques. One of which is to say something that is misleading or simply wrong, so someone will correct the record. They use this as an opportunity to pivot to a different argument that they want to turn ugly. After a while, people get a bad feeling coming here and don't want to participate. Then they stop coming.

These negative operatives need to be identified and banned. Some even pretend to have a Cybertruck, most do not. Their behavior is not overtly against the rules, most of them have already been banned multiple times under different aliases and email addresses and thus have learned how to skirt the rules.

Well, I am a Pre-CT owner. I check this app at least once a day just to see what new. With an RN113 it will be December before I get an invite. Until then I still feel like I’m in the club even if it only cost me $100. Ha!
So, where have all the Pre-CT owners gone? I think they are still here. Just not responding ( and chatting) as much.
the front page content is mostly those who already have their CT.
Good point though- I agree, there is some good content in the threads with very little responses.
