I got a call about my canceled delivery tomorrow. Cybertruck has arrived to the delivery center. Just needs to pass an inspection and detail. Ready to pick up Monday or Tuesday but obviously I’m going there tomorrow to see if I can pick it up lol

Received the generic "Unexpected Delay" text yesterday for my delivery scheduled for today (4/13). CT AWD, VIN #5600.

Received a call today from Tesla Paramus and the rep. noted a "brake concern" that required all trucks undergo an additional inspection prior to delivery. When I pressed for details - nothing else was shared other than to keep an eye out on the app for updates.

I feel for these delivery center reps. It doesn't sound like Tesla is letting them know too much other than there is a delay. There's a good amount of "reasons" for the delay all over this forum - hopefully Tesla will share details shortly. Doesn't appear there are any new SBs as of yet.
My delivery in Paramus scheduled for Monday 4/15 was canceled until further notice. VIN 53xx

I had my truck delivery scheduled for 04/11. I went to the service center signed the paperwork related to the title and my truck was pulled out to deliver it. The rep said there is some issue and they would need 15 minutes to fix it and asked me to wait at the lobby. After 30 mins the operations manager came and updated me that there is some problem with that CT, we would have to assign you a new truck. They did not tell the reason. I was assigned a new VIN the same day but again back to where it all started. Checked with them again today, he said there is a nation wide hold until 4/20.

That was my thought, he said he took his foot off the accelerator and it didn't slow down and hit the brake but it was too late.

Someone said the stop order in relation to the accelerator pedal was poor lubricant or wrong lubricant used. So that would make sense if the pedal when he released it didn't come back up and the accelerator basically continued to hold its position he was expecting it to slow down and it didn't he hit the brake but now the truck was still putting power to the electric motors while he's breaking and it was too late and hit the pole. Tesla would have seen that data immediately upon review. He has also said that Tesla has not given him any of the information about the crash.

See it's looking like the OP on that one was vindicated.
I hate when my accelerator is improperly lubed

EVERYBODY needs to apologize to that poor soul if that's true. He got SOO roasted lol
Every Tesla I have owned if the accelerator and the brake is pressed at the same time, the brakes take precedent and a warning on the screen with loud alarm saying that both pedals are pushed. So if the pedal is getting stuck due to lubricant, hitting the brake should disable it.

Schedule for pick up the 16th in Raleigh. CT is at SC already. App still shows scheduled for 16th. Texted SC but no response so far. (Crazy how hard it is to talk to a human). VIN in the 5800s

I feel sorry for all the deliveries that will get postponed and while I realize the disappointment's it will cause but if it were me, I would rather get all of the recalls out of the way, so you don't have to ride around worrying about failures and inconvenience of scheduling an appointment for service.

These recalls along with any updates that take place between now and when I take delivery are the only thing that makes me not go crazy waiting so long to get my Cybertruck.

I recently rented one for the weekend and that really helped me take the edge off too, I highly recommend it if you are having that pain when you see one driving around in your area!

just google cybertruck for rent in my area or go to TURO app that is what I did and depending on where you are it might be hard to find and/or seem expensive but it is well worth it.

I ordered a 2021 Bronco and was one of them first ones in my area to get one, so I am not a newbie to all of this, I have an appointment to get 3 recalls taken care of that I have been putting off for quite some time and even know they haven't effected the performance of my Bronco it needs to be addressed, also if you are wandering we Love our Bronco and plan to keep it even after we get our Cybertruck.

I will add that

Got a call from my Dad yesterday asking for help. His CyberBeast was placed into service yesterday afternoon after it broke down on the freeway. Luckily he was able to pull over to the shoulder.

For Sunday I had planned on taking a trip with my wife and kid in our new cybertruck and having Grandma and Grandpa follow us up in their Cybertruck

now we both don’t have cybertrucks ?

A few hours after I dropped off Dads truck at service I received the text message cancelling my Sunday morning delivery.

Oh my God! Now what!?!!! Starbucks might get two of your next orders wrong or something equally egregious!

It's not fun getting your delivery delayed a week or more but the alternative is getting a vehicle with a safety flaw vs one that is in top shape. The Cybertruck is massively new technology. Personally I'm happy that Tesla is working to root out any teething problems.

I received my Beast delivery the day prior to the “hold.” I was wondering if I should be be concerned, to which Tesla service advised me my CT was “cleared for delivery.” I missed the hold by that much! (Old TV show reference)

I would kill for a delayed delivery.... 95 days now and no VIN.. :(
I'm at 123 days since configuration. No VIN (RN1127560XX). After hearing from a Tesla rep at HQ she said expect 120 days plus from Beast configuration date. The delivery timeline ive received from Tesla people has changed 3 times. So all I can do is wait. Although interest on purchase money is accruing nicely so there is one positive.
