Today I parked in the garage adjacent to the N. Austin Tesla showroom, most of the other cars were brand-new Highlands awaiting delivery. I still managed over a dozen Sentry events from lookie-loos taking selfies lol

I think strangers mostly respect other peoples property and are not busy pawing their Cybertrucks. It's another fake made-up story. Don't get me wrong, I'm not questioning that it occasionally happens that someone touches it, but I don't think it's the problem it's represented to be.
Cybertruck Fingerprint problem doesn’t need a proof to know who did it, unless we are talking about a criminal investigation! ?. If you see it, then you believe it, and figure out a solution to fix it. Who cares how it happened?! ?. Owners might say the kid around the block did it, or their own kids might be doing it. Whatever!

Mainly I just wanted an EV truck that was made by Tesla, not by Ford or GM. I was planning to get it regardless of the style. I really liked how it looked when they rolled it out on stage tough. It's just nice to drive Tesla and be in the ecosystem. It's so easy to drive the different cars since they all use mostly the same software. It's just the best EV manufacturer for me. Superchargers, the app is great, etc. Definitely I didn't buy it to be important lol
This sort of sums up how I feel too. I was blown away by our model 3 that we got in early 2019. I knew I was going to get a pick up truck next. So, when Tesla announced they were going to make a pick up truck I decided I was going to get it no matter what it looked like. It’s sort of a side plot the fact that it’s so polarizing and attention grabbing and that so many people hate it.

I know people are staring and even taking pictures while both of us are driving, I just pretend I wasn't ware of that and focusing only at my CT dashboard/display/windshield.
Yep! The same. Everyday, even with my regular routine, I come across people who have never seen it in person or have no idea what it is. Sometimes it takes a minute to register because its easy to focus on what you’re doing and forget what you’re driving ?.

I went to the sushi restaurant and a lady comes up to the table and says I love your truck! I saw you driving. Can I take a picture? Umm ok. It’s in the public so you can take pictures haha

What kind of non-sensical answer is that? Cold? In a maritime climate in the spring?

Agree, people mostly respect it and don't touch. We did have a woman trying to sit on the front bumper and take a selfie while parked at the Bellevue Square Mall. Her kids were like, Mom get off that as we were walking up...lol

I think I got my first negative comment. Well it was written on the ground in chalk. Who carries chalk with them? It said “this person eats ass” lololol!

With an arrow pointed towards the parking spot. No doubt done by a sad adult man.

In fairness that’s not an insult, it’s a compliment IMO…

Cardi B said it best

“He toss my salad like his name Romaaaaaaine…” ??

I chuckled at that, but there's so many questions!
As you mention, seriously, who carries chalk with them?
How boring and sad does someones life have to be to take time out of the day to write a mean note?
How does one muster the energy to care about someone else's personal choices.

That being said. Points for creativity :)

Yeah I wish I had sentry on to record it. It will remain a mystery. It was a shopping center so maybe they went in a store and bought the chalk? Very unusual.
