It's a constant noise, repeatable. For sure not tire or motor; I own a 3 & Y so I'm used to the sound of a Tesla. This sound is different. At first I thought it was a bearing sound, but maybe not. Checked all panels, undercarriage and looked for anything loose -nothing. Posting to see if other CT owners may have heard a similar sound. TIA UPDATE: Front motor was replaced; SC indicated bearing issue.

In the meantime I would make a service center appointment to get it checked out if you haven’t already. Just in case.

Do you have hub caps on still? Some reported them making noise prior to most pulling them off due to tire sidewall rubbing.

My CT did come with wheel covers; and yes those were removed to confirm sound wasn’t coming from those rubbing. Thanks for checking!

I have something similar. Sounds like I'm going over rumble strips between 40-50mph. Usually close to light throttle input and into regen.

Did you happen to get a service appt and a remedy? Mine is scheduled in next week for a slew of other little items and this is on the list.

You know the sound of brake pads rubbing against the rotor, if the calipers need adjustment? My Cybertruck makes that sound, from the right passenger side, once I get to 25+ mph. I’m pretty sure it’s not how the front motor normally sounds. And, if It was brake pads, you would think it would be at all speeds. I wonder if a drive shaft would only make strange noises above a certain mph?

I have a 3 and Y, and while the Cybertruck is different, it doesn’t sound normal. I put in a service request to see if they claim it’s normal.

It's probably nothing but it can't hurt to get it checked out. Let us know what they say.

Hey I think I have this same issue. Only notice it at 40 to 55mph and most notable when backing off the throttle.
It's a fluttering noise kind of like a failing refrigerator fan or something.
Its hard to record over the other cabin noises.
Does that sound like your issue?
Anyone else?
I may try and upload that sound clip.

Rumble strips? That's pretty loud right? Did u ever diagnose the problem?
I've got some fluttering at 40 to 50 mph most notable on decel. Kinda mildly clunky sounding like a refrigerator fan going bad or something ?‍♂

They replaced both drive units and all vibration is gone.
