Sorry if this was posted elsewhere in this thread, but how you do you know when your VIN is assigned? Is everyone just checking the app daily for their VIN assignment, does the app send you a notification, or does Tesla send an email?

sometimes you get an email (usually if you are financing i think) but mainly yea, check the app 1 or 100 times a day for most people

i paid cash and never got an email when i got my VIN

Another NJ one! I got a beast and a few i talked to have an AWD, all got vin on 4/16-4/17 - at least 8 of us so i'm thinking they all got shipped here together. Who knows, they may be already near the service center.

Checking it almost every hour now. Let's hope we all gonna get good news soon
