Received Free Super Charging for 2 Months pending Power Share Installation!

I received an email today regarding my Power Share installation from Tesla. I'm receiving 2 months of free Super Charging pending installation of my Power Share technology. A nice gesture and a signal that Tesla is not prepared to install it here in mid-west Alabama.

Lol I feel your pain here in Mississippi. I talked to one of the 4 electricians certified by Tesla in my area. He said he had heard of Powershare but hasn't received the training material yet. I sent him a link to the thread on this site that somebody posted that had pictures and details about his install. He seemed grateful.

That all being said it is nice for Tesla to do that but in my case the only tesla supercharger is 23 miles or 36 minutes (at best more like 45-50) from my house on the complete opposite side of town where it would be pointless to drive that far to charge, turn around and drive that distance back home and I have no reason to go that way except to pick up my CT once delivered.

Do the 2 months expire? how does that work. is it 2 months from getting the email/CT or 2 months from your first supercharge? I wish they would just give us X amount of kWh worth of credit. As things are setup in my area now the only time I'll use a supercharger is once or twice a year when traveling. I have heard they are planning on installing a supercharger really close to me but who knows if that's true or when it will happen.

My Super Charger is about 6 miles from the house. Not bad of a ride and takes my CyberTruck from 20% to 90% in about 20 minutes. (I believe they are version 1 chargers?) So, I've charged up 3 times since I took delivery on 4/20 and yet to use the free chargers. I'm told by a girl I know with a Tesla they take forever and not practical for day to day Charging. However, if you can access a 220 in your garage the included "portable charger" that comes with your CyberTruck will charge you up overnight. I don't have easy access to my 220 outlets from outside so the free Super Charging is much appreciated while I wait for the Power Share tech to be installed. Right now it is about $25 a Super Charge for me.

Yes, I picked up "OO7" on Saturday, 4/20, as it were. Haha! Extremely stoked! Delivery in Franklin, Tennessee. Had 40 CyberTrucks up there waiting. I was the first after the recall Delivery ban was lifted.

Hey, don't know about your power company, but, Alabama Power has a program I applied for and was accepted to that provides discounted electricity rates during off-peak hours, 9 p.m.-5 a.m. if you own electric car. Also, a $500 rebate from them for installing your charging port hardware. I would check with your power company for similar deals in preparation of your CyberTruck delivery.

Interesting. I took delivery and still have not been contacted other than my initial approval. Where the fuck are my credits? Lol
