I am still struggling on insurance after shopping for 3 days after VIN released.. agent and I have checked more than 10 companies.. progressive declined saying no coverage WA after got tons of information. State Farm no saying my insurance record less than a year(I just moved to US last year).. Tesla not covering WA. Geico offer extremely high, 750/m. Looking at forum seems I am the only one have issues in insurance..

That is baffling. Can you get your driving records from where you lived previously?

I've found sometimes you need more than one agent, play them off each other.

Also in Washington you can apply for a bond to self-insure.

I am in Ohio and took delivery. I had a similar issue with coverage. My carrier Frankenmuth does not provide CT insurance and other options were very pricy. I settled with Tesla insurance but realize now that I have to be more concerned with my safety score than I previously was.

I was all set to get Progressive Insurance, but on delivery day, they said I couldn’t get insurance until after a 14-day waiting period. Progressive was about $180/month. Ended up getting Tesla Insurance for $191. I thought I did read where they do not consider your safety score in your insurance premium. Maybe I better check that. I’m a slow driver most of the time and my current score is 94.

I do not recommend State Farm and a Tesla claim. The experience was similar to divorce court. USAA has always been great, including Tesla, in Washington state.

What exactly is wrong with State Farm? I just add the Cybertruck to my policy with them for $81 per month. Are they just difficult if there's a claim?

In CA, they do not consider your safety score. In other states, they do.
It's why I left Tesla insurance, it was the cheapest and best coverage when I got it, but I got dinked with 5 ghost forward collision warnings (same spot by my house each time, kinda spooky tbh), 3-4 false forward collision warnings due to cars parked on the side of the road by my house, and then half a dozen cars cutting me off in traffic causing the rate to rocket up. So I gave up :)
