With our last pick up it was actually neither. When my wife picked up her model X in September we were at Tesla for 3 hours! It was outrageous! The worst out of any purchase experience in the last decade and by far the worst Tesla out of five.

The best? Home delivery of my M3P during Covid! They should make that the standard!

After unsupervised FSD is out, it should just show up at your house!

That will be so cool, and a great sales tool. I can’t wait to drive to the airport and not have to park, just have my car drive itself home, and pick me back up.

So I made a service appointment and put in the notes if I could have my wheel covers and lightbar installed. When my estimate came back for me to confirm my appointment they charged me for the light bar…. Has this happen to everyone that had had the light bar installed?

I would love to see the breakdown for the cost of the light bar, part cost vs labor to install. also I would just message them in the app and ask why there is a charge. If you have a foundation series cyber beast that should be $0.00. Probably just a mistake that is easily corrected. just don't accept/approve until they correct the cost.

I was thinking the cost for non foundation series owners would be $2500.00. Thanks for the confirmation. Did they automatically add the clean forward camera view to your service appointment? I hear they are doing that for all new service appointments for the truck.

To my knowledge this is the first time anybody has seen a invoice showing the cost of the light bar we’ve all been speculating. No idea why you would get this. But if you’ve got a foundation series CB you should pay exactly zero dollars for installation and obviously the part, you already bought it!

That said, it is common practice for them to show you an invoice and get you to pre-approve the cost of something if it’s not covered under warranty and then zero that out after the service is done. I just haven’t seen it done for the light bar.

This is my issue. I do not want to agree to these terms and have to wait Months for reimbursement. I ordered my cyber beast in May and took delivery early September so them running the van clearly shows that it’s a foundation series.

As someone mentioned earlier, they could just have to put it on the paperwork to keep track of inventory, but I would assume that it would show a credit for the same amount in the paperwork that I’m signing
