2 related questions for a scenario that I and maybe others are in. Frequent long highway trips - so considering getting the Tesla Shop spare kit. 2 conundrums:

1. I have all season tires and the spare is all terrain. There does not appear to be a “spare tire selection” option - just GoodYear AT.
Does this mismatch pose any driving issue - safety, comfort, other?

2. The spare is beyond my wife and my lifting ability.
any recommendations for a single light smallish ramp to roll the spare into the bed?

Thanks for any help. we have AAA who supposedly will help change the tire. Trying to understand if the juice is worth the squeeze.

I carry the spare, and can certainly attest to it being a behemoth of a beast to move around. I'd suggest that the bigger problem isn't going to be getting the flat tire up in the bed... but rather getting the spare lifted up the couple inches necessary to get it onto the lugs. One is in a challenging position leverage-wise when doing that.

If your plan is to have AAA come and "help" change the tire, I'd guess they could also help you get the flat tire up into the bed.

You might consider a tire plug kit. Even carrying the spare, that's always my plan A. But if you do that, I highly recommend that you actually perform a repair or two (say, on your old tire(s) immediately before having them replaced). Those kits aren't especially difficult to use, but like many things, until you've done it a time or two it's easy to not have a great experience. If you go that route you'll also need a decent air compressor.

I wouldn't expect the difference between the AS/AT tires would pose any safety issues, particularly if you only used the spare for a relatively short span of time/miles, while you get the primary tire repaired/replaced. I've driven trucks all my life and most of that time was with the spare being a different tire brand/pattern than the four rolling stock.

I carry around the all-terrain spare tire that I purchased separately on eBay with rim and then I purchased the Tesla tool kit from eBay as well, which ended up being cheaper than getting it direct from Tesla. I would look into the hall master ramp from Harbor freight it falls and should fit perfectly in the cargo bin in the vault.

I have a couple of those that I carry, but have yet to actually use them. Sounds like you have (used them) and had a good experience?
Yes I use them every time I rotate on the truck and change winter/summer wheels on the X. Love them.

I carry the original as a spare am running winter tire set, asked service about the difference in diameter being an issue as in traditional 4wd you can’t run anything over a 1/4 inch difference. They said would be ok short term to get to tire shop etc , would probably throw errors and disable ABS and Traction control ?‍♂
