Key cards no longer unlock truck

Just to confirm, you have maintained ability, not gained it back after loosing correct?

Honestly, I don't know. I never use the cards. I have a service appt next week (tire rotation), so figured I'd check to see if it was a problem while the appt was still open for adding tasks. But I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

Each of my keys are now working. The reader is about 3 inches above the light. Must have been during the last 2 days that it started again. No clue what the problem was, but fixed is fixed.

All right everyone, Giskard is spending the night at the Bellevue service center. The service associate I worked with was chill and let me feel like I was heard with how ridiculous it is I needed to come in person for this however, I ran out of steam pretty quickly because, well shit I just love my damn truck so much I can’t stay mad at it haha. There was zero begging required for a loaner, it was actually offered. I got the feeling if I would have insisted I not leave it for a day I could have rolled out of there with it but perhaps having one in hand from a real live frustrated CT owner, if any heat is needed to apply to engineering perhaps this could help. Since this service center is only a 10 minute trip outside of my commute it’s no big. hopefully it helps us somehow they have a breakthrough haha.

Loaner is a 23’ model X P100D with the yoke. The yoke is fuggen GOOFY at first. Not sure if I like it. Squircle is where it’s at.

edit: forgot to add, it was confirmed it is only the PILLAR reader, if inside the unlocked vehicle, the reader inside will read/detect and allow you to drive

spend some time getting up to speed in this thread. Long story short, Tesla ain’t sure how to fix, and are hoping to fix and blast an OTA out for it. My truck is in service overnight for it I just posted an update in this thread about it if you want to take a look

My key card also started working. Thank goodness they figured this out without needing any hardware replaced.

My key card was NOT working. Now it IS working. I am on version 2024.45.25.15, which uploaded about a week ago. This started working today, but has not been tested since about 2 or 3 days ago. I have 4 key cards, and I tested each one and confirmed that none did work, and now all do work. The reader is about 3 inches above the light. It was pretty cold outside (25F) and now it is warmer (35F). I don't know what else to say... )
