that aint happening. That is the best deal Tesla ever offers. It has been either or except the commercial credits Q4 2024.

TurboTax is wrong. Those are the limits for a pre-owned vehicle.
Also, 2024 Cybertrucks don't qualify for that credit.

Totally disappointed, I feel like we were played. I don't see why it is not retroactive. I Feel the people like myself who just missed it by no control of our own got the short end of the stick. Waited 4 years to get it and then $30K higher than originally promised and what little light we might of gotten was pulled out on us also. Just Sucks!

Yeah I have been working on Taxes too and I checked the government Tax site as directed in TaxACt and it also says I don't qualify. Again also sucks.

4680 cells used imported Chinese cathodes which disqualified the vehicle from the 30D credit as of Jan 1, 2024.

Yeah, missing a price cut sucks.
However, you had control, the choice to buy or not was yours. The 2024 vehicles didn't qualify, and under the system in place since Jan 1 2024, there is no option for retroactive credit if the vehicle was not processed through the portal at time of sale/delivery.

Not really a choice in my opinion. I guess to get one or not might of been a choice. Tesla made it very clear if I passed on my place in line I would have to be put at the back of the line, which at that point sounded like years. Of course we know better now....so....hind sight is always wonderful to use but not relevant at the time.

Yeah, we can only act on the data we have at the time. For instance, I wasn't sure if the new mineral sourcing clause would nix the credit in 2025.
On the other hand, we've made over 9,000 miles of memories in the past 9 months.
