fully software updated on the car? If so , restart phone , watch and/ or then delete tesla app from phone and watch and reinstall, try again.
How old is the watch? needs to run correct iOS program.
Phone is up to date, iPhone 16 Pro Max, with latest iOS version 18.1.1, watch is up to date with the latest watchOS version 11.3, the watch is an ultra model A2622, not the latest generation but maybe previous. Software on the cybertruck is not the latest availabe but the latest Tesla pushed, 2024.45.25.15 2409d648f093

My truck updated to 45.32.10 the other day and I checked my card last night, it works! Thats a relief.

I guess I wait (im)patiently for the 45.32.10 update.... I have a cross country trip scheduled but I am reluctant to travel with this key card issue.

My truck updated to 45.32.10 the other day and I checked my card last night, it works! Thats a relief.
Was it not working prior to this update? That's not clear from what you posted.

It was not working. I'm not even sure how long it was not working because I never use it except to try it when I picked up the truck.

Software 2024.45.25.15 both key don’t work to open doors , works to drive
Hopefully new software update will fix this

I think it’s crazy that this is a known issue and Tesla is taking this long for a fix. I guess data shows the key cards are used less than 20% of the time.

idk, I think it’s been weeks, not years. I’m confident I would be less generous if I was affected by it but fortunately I dodged this particular bullet.

Weeks is a long time for a key issues with your new car not to work man. I agree it doesn’t affect me but just the fact that if this was any other company with the keys not working there would be a riot

Weeks is a long time for a key issues with your new car not to work man. I agree it doesn’t affect me but just the fact that if this was any other company with the keys not working there would be a riot
I totally agree with you they’re just a couple of things:

1. You can still get in with your phone or watch or unlock the car from the app.

2. Didn’t Kia have a far more severe situation with locks that lasted many many months and to some extent is only just now being resolved?

That’s all I was thinking of I’m not saying it’s OK or cool but I’ve been tracking this since we saw the first reports of it and I can’t believe that this has been more than three or four months and we’re already seeing a fix being offered OTA. And to my knowledge all of these people have continued to be able to drive their vehicles.

I’m not making excuses or anything.

Has anybody else experienced this? I went to use my key card yesterday and it would not unlock my truck, tried the second one with no luck. These are key cards that previously worked. I got in the truck with my phone key, then turned off Bluetooth and put the card in the cupholder and it was recognized and I could operate the vehicle, same with the second key card. I could not figure out why it would operate the truck but not unlock it.
I went to my local service center and the tech said this is the third CyberTruck with this issue in the last two days. Apparently it is a software bug.
I’d be curious if anybody else has encountered this and if you haven’t tried your card in a while, try it and see if you’re affected.
The technician said he will put this in the system and reach out when they have a solution but as of now, they do not have a fix.
Any update?

Seems new update .10 is fixing the problem, only issue is most of us haven't received the new update yet..
Interesting, I received that update on Saturday, I’ll check my KC and report back next time I’m at my truck.
