Premium Connectivity FAIL in the middle of Las Vegas

Hey folks. I have 2025 beast with active Premium Connectivity (first year, and showing active in the system).

Has anybody experience inexplicable interruptions in connectivity?

I live in Las Vegas and, as expected, all cellular carriers have coverage throughout the area.

About every other drive my Spotify will stop and go blank and say: “Check internet connectivity”. On lesser occasion my maps will read: “Navigating without connectivity”.

I can’t correlate what’s fixing it: time, reboot (scroll wheels), or sometimes tapping Spotify again.

I didn’t experience this with my Model 3 that I just sold — same drive patterns as the Cybertruck.

Anybody else? Any ideas?

I recall having some sort of connectivity outage for 20 mins or so, a few months ago.

Seemed like a system thing, as I was out in an area that normally has good coverage. It wasn't the wifi switchover delay (I get that, too), but seemed like a failure of the cell network for a bit.

Connectivity came back by itself a short time later and it hasn't happened since.

Interesting. Many of the issues do correlate with leaving the house. (Not all, but some).

Cellular coverage "breathes" with load on the network and climatic conditions. In urban environments the tall building present coverage problems. Even though a specific spot may generally have coverage, loading the network, or environmental conditions, can cause "shadows" of non-coverage between buildings, etc.

Only lose it in rural areas, or places with tall buildings like in New York (city)

I’m having same issue right now in road trip. It says this even though I’m successfullly connected to my star link too. Very annoying

image for proof despite being connected to either LTE or WiFi, doesn’t matter.

NOTE: I AM SUCCESFULLY connected to functioning internet, not just a WANless router.

click end trip and then select the destination again in your NAV . it will begin using traffic data again.

I’ve tried ending nav and starting again as well as rebooting MCU. Same issue sporadically persists, just like OP. Am also using Starlink/LTE and am having different experience than you sadly.

Yeah, I think I’ll do that. My only worry is getting a bad Tesla service tech who says they can’t replicate the issue and tells me to document it or provide more data just to justify a future appointment. I’ll document though haha
