I really don't understand the point of the thread. If one wants the tire that came with truck. Go to store that sells tires. Ask for that. Find best price. Purchase.

Is one looking for the exact sentence to ask a tire jockey? Wow. Hope not.

The point was trying to document options on where we can get these tires. I went to discount tire originally and was told they don't seem to have that and Tesla was the only place. After that I started to find the other places online only and thought other truck owners might benefit from this and be able to contribute to the conversation. They have! Turns out Discount Tire does have them with the wrong photo.

Why do you infect every thread you enter with your mindless drivel?

The appearance is that you are only here to disrupt and devalue the forum and drive sincere people away. I've never seen you add a single thing of value to any thread you've entered.
Facts matter. There are a lot of the same size tires. There is no requirement to buy the exact same tire. Guys are replacing with many different tires. I'm replacing with Michelin Premium.

So you admit you didn't read the first post at all where in the first sentence I said I was specifically looking for the OEM and was not interested in of the other tires. Facts matter and the fact is your trolling ruined a very nice informational thread.

If you want the OEM tires why don't you call a tire store? I ordered them from my local Discount Tire after looking up two other prices. Common sense. I kind of agree with others after reading your ALL CAPS STATEMENT. You kind of answered your own question.

Did you read the thread? I started at Discount Tire they told me they did not have tires with the same sidewall. It's why this thread even exists.

Yes I did read. Humor. OEM same number is same number. Sidewalls online are not always what the shop delivers. Maybe you had a unique experience. Just seems kind of normal to do what I did. Give them the Goodyear product number. Order. Done. Just like I order medical equipment.

Some like to make it more complicated or need input from others. I understand your needs.

Good Year makes that specific tire for the Cybertruck (i.e. at minimum, the wheel cover tabs align directly with the pattern on the side wall). It’s very likely the rest of that tire compound / tread pattern is based on another tire that they already manufacture, but for sure, the side wall mold is custom for Tesla, and came as Original Equipment from the Manufacturer (OEM to Tesla) on their Cybertruck. If he wants that exact tire with that same exact compound, tread, and side molding, he must buy the Good Year with the same tire part number that is specifically made by them for Tesla. If he replaces them with a set of Wranglers or other without the side wall pattern (KO3, Grapplers, etc), they’ll work fine, but they definitely will not have the side wall molding that aligns with the Tesla wheel covers. Whether or not that tire has a foam insert for road noise (common on other EV specific tires), or other features specified by Tesla, I can’t answer to. OEM specific tires made by leading tire manufacturers specifically for car manufacturer’s is pretty common. An extreme case being the ones made for the Bugatti Veyron by Michelin, designed for the extreme speed and forces this car produces. No one thinks these tires are made by Buggati, but Buggati recommends their owners use them, as they were specifically designed with input from their engineers for thier cars.
OB is right especially about the foam insert. The foam is on the inside of the tire opposite the tread. On my daughters Model 3 there was a foam pad about. 5" wide by 3/4" thick glued to the inside of the whole tire only opposite the tread not the walls. My daughter was installing off brand regular tires to save $$$ and regretted it because they were definitely louder while she drove. I told her nothing you can do about it now except to make the radio louder.

I DO NOT WANT AFTERMARKET TIRES - so recommending me some other style or brand is pointless. I like the look of the OEM…

they have the tires at Discount but seemingly the sidewall is not the same...
Can’t go wrong at Discount Tire, at least never had any issues with their service or products.

I've had excellent service from several locations at Discount Tire.

The key is the "TE" in the "WRANGLER TERRITORY RTLT285 /65 R20 123H D1 BSW TE"

It isn't as if you don't have an opportunity to inspect the tires prior to mounting. I always do this as there are several variations of tires out there and have caught mistakes at other tire shops on other vehicles.

DT also gives warranty options for incidents and will rotate for free as well as check tire pressures at any location in the US.

OP I too was wondering if there were many options but the OEM tire is a decent one, especially with the insane loads it handles AND does a great job all around (AT). I've always run BFG KO series on my Jeeps and Tacoma.
