Looks like another wave of 13.2.8 is going out, installing now. Not expecting much.

So far no phantom wipes yet on 13.2.8!!

I would like to see or know if anyone has experienced a legitimate wipe of the front windshield along with it auto dispensing washing fluid to clean? Any FSD versions at all, not just 13.2.8.
My Model S Plaid used to do this

Got the update last night as I was going to sleep, looking forward to see if there is any noticeable change.

Is the wiper thing really that annoying? It's different, but I just let it do its thing. This is my first Tesla but I think it's been doing that for years. Unless one of you actually tell Tesla to curb the behavior, it's probably not being updated.

It is that annoying on a clear sunny dry day You have your wiper dragging down the windshield smearing any bugs or dirt or bird crap. Now you have a mess of dried crap all over your windshield and your wiper.

Still sluggish. Had it NHTSA stop and after a single car passed with nothing else coming for quite awhile … just stuttering for ~15-20 seconds until I had to nudge it. This was at like 5a with zero traffic.

It just hates this hwy I live on. Good everywhere else but completely broken since 13.2.5ish. Has serious problems with very reasonable gaps as well.

Has anyone had issues with this update breaking their frunk button (the physical one)?

Ever since 13.2.7 (and even after 13.2.8), it broke my frunk and it will randomly open when the truck is unlocked (I have auto open frunk option disabled).

Mine’s currently in service for this issue (along with a couple of other minor things).

90 miles drive on 13.2.8 and it still hugs either side of lanes especially when there’s a curve in the road. Almost as if the truck is too big and bulky to center it precisely.

So one thing that I didn’t like in this update is the regenerative breaking isn’t nearly as strong. I was using this like a golf cart and almost never touched my brakes. When I had to slow down at a stop light I noticed its strength wasn’t there and had to begin using my brakes. At this stage I am regen braking a lot further out.

This all came as a surprise to me. I need to look and see if they have a setting so I can get back the strong regen I had before.

I noticed a few positive things:
  1. Nannycam / striker seems slightly less aggressive
  2. No longer drifts off left side of a 3 lane highway when getting around trucks (previous versions on 495 outside Boston would literally drive right over the yellow line into the "grooved" safety area repeatedly).
  3. Actually dodged a few deep puddles safely o backroads (I can't recall it doing that).
  4. No longer gets stuck in left lane of 3 way highway with blinker on forever before it goes back to middle lane.
And I charged from 20-80% on a 250 charger in 35 minutes -- that seems a little faster than before.

Nanny cam is still too aggressive for me, so I don't use it as much as I would otherwise.
