Continued success with not curbing rear wheels and it is still cutting left turn too close to outcoming traffic.

Also it is now avoiding a specific section of the road on a sharp turn where a deadly deep pothole cover used to by my mortal enemy. It’s specifically making a move around it and previous versions would head straight for it each time.

Also two back to back superb parking jobs. One to the tire shop front row parking and another on street at coffee cafe shop. Did not have to nudge or correct myself at all. Only thing I did was put it in Park as expected for now.

Big Strides so far on 13.2.8!!

Fantastic improved performance on many levels, we even pulled into the parking lot and it was going to park itself but I intervened as it was going to park across the lot in a Pick-Up spot. Spot on placement in the lane, signaled and avoided work crew on road's shoulder. Really great stuff, 5 Star EXCEPT, the wiper is still possessed by the Phantom, 10 minutes in, and it thought it was raining, it was not...really annoying. But the rest was super, plan to take a nap and let Blitzen take me out for a ride, again...now where to go, hmmmm.

Edit: turning on FSD turns on the auto wipe, you have to go in and turn it off. If you disengage FSD and then re-engage, guess what, the auto wipe is reactivated. Visious circle.

So far it seems like my Cybertruck is holding the center of the lane much better than the previous versions, in which I had mild lane drift resulting often in my truck riding on the left side reflectors. Of course I’ve only tested it in the city so far.

Only thing Im slightly unsure about is the right turns now. its driving really close to the right side curbs at intersections now, so much so in fact, half way through the right turns it keeps correcting itself midway through turning to avoid striking the curb.

ironically, I haven’t had phantom, wipes since the last update. But I don’t use the auto wiper setting, so maybe that’s why?

It puts itself into auto wipe when FSD is activated, that's the beginning of the bug.

How does one avoid auto wiper? Turn it to off every drive?

Very much improved in every single way! Turning on inside of parking lots and navigating out of parking lot to roadways is phenomenal.

Today gave it a hard test. Drove to very rural Tennessee where I literally have no cell phone coverage. Some of the switch backs on back roads, even with edge markings and double yellow lines confused it on tight turns and it crossed over the double yellow four times. On even more difficult back roads with zero edge marking and 20 foot drop offs on one side. It did phenomenally well even in the pitch dark.

Yup, I put the wiper into my "Favorites" so it's within reach.
Pushing the voice button and saying “turn off wiper” worked for me. Don’t have to look at the screen to do that.

One thing I noticed is the truck has a better view of a clear road than the driver. If I can see there is no traffic, I sometimes cross the double yellow to “smooth out” a windy road. I’m thinking it may do the same thing when it makes sense.

I’m loading the update now. On this extended 8,000 mile road trip, the beast seems more hesitant to resume from a dead stop in traffic or at an intersection. Hopefully, this update will tweak that. The model X just got the same FSD update but it includes the ability to select FSD from park. Hopefully that is coming soon for the CT.

That’d be cool. Hoping that’s an explanation. It nailed the tough stuff with no cell coverage and zero lines anywhere. Paved roads but that’s about it.
