Nothing removes everything. But I keep a pack of baby wipes in my vehicles to be ready to always wipe away whatever that comes off easily.

Anything that would remove spray paint on the fly would likely stain the steel.
I personally am bringing things to prevent someone from spray painting my truck.....seems like a growing problem, hope it settles down soon.

Same, hope it settles down. We have a road trip on April. I’m hoping the combination of Sprayway, some plastic electronic spudger, and some microfibers will help remove most of it. Stupid we have to plan/worry about humans vandalizing our vehicles. Vehicles of people they know nothing about. Hate is so ugly.

Would a nano coating improve removal?

I have a Delorean and have used Windex successfully. I have also used gasoline. Wipe it on and immediately wipe it off. Would it work on my CT? I like how people on here are getting out in front of things. The best deterrent is to catch them doing it. Pain is mother natures teacher. No one touches a hot stove twice. Ha.

Acetone is safe on the stainless, and easily removes paint. I've used it on mine. (Not for vandalism, just some gunk that was hard to clean off) However, don't get it on the plastic or rubber. It WILL damage them.

It is, down here in the south people generally respect other people due to the consequences if they do not, but I have a friend out West who is holding off on getting a CT hoping that this will all die down. Between the early overwhelming positive attention, and the new negative attention it is just more than she wants to deal with.

When are you headed on your road trip?

Acetone would probably be safe on the stainless if promptly washed with water afterward. It could however damage plastics or adhesives, so keeping it only within the bounds of a stainless panel would be important.

Something like this might work, depending on the type of paint used:

Acetone works fantastic on our CyberTrucks. I used it to help remove all of the leftover sticker material from my wrap I just took off. Absolutely NO DAMAGE or marking from it at all. However I would only recommend it on the steel portion directly, not onto a wrap or any of the plastic on the truck.

Heading out at the beginning of April. Will end up covering around 4,800 miles over 3.5 weeks. Looking forward to it!

While on this topic, any suggestions about removing spray paint from ceramic coated PPF film? I was planning a trip from FL to NJ this summer but am nervous of the risk.
