Do you live with squeaks and rattles?

Just got back from the service center to address a rattle I have on the drivers side . Unfortunately, it is intermittent, sometimes the rattle is there sometimes it is not. Of course as I went on the drive with the service member, it was very faint. Though, they said they may be able to do something about it. After about 2 hours waiting, my service appointment was complete. After driving home, it seemed even worse. I was wondering if anyone else has squeaks and rattles? Do you just live with it or have you had a successful service appointment to address it?

I have a fair amount of creaks and groans, and that’s before I even get in the truck.

No creaks or squeak sounds on mine.

The one thing I hear is a little…how to describe it…like a loose sound in my driver door when I go over certain types of bumps. I think the cause is the door moves a minuscule amount when hitting bumps and the sound is the door and door latch hitting each other (if that makes sense)? It’s only audible because I’m sitting right next to the door. at the end of the day, it doesn’t bother me but thought I’d mention it.

I had a couple. You can usually find them yourself by pressing on the locations that you hear them. Mine have been from the plastic clips the hold pieces into place. In nearly all of them, I pulled the piece out, sprayed silicon spray and reseated the piece and the squeak was gone. I now have 0.

+1. Pretty much exactly as described. I tried to lift the door vertically when open and see if it moves but it doesn’t budge. I am starting to think it’s in the pillar but don’t quite know how to remove the interior pillar trim. So living with it for now.

I couldn't take the console creaking on every gentle turn. Tried service but they made it worse. I don't hear it now as have a towel stuffed under it tight, classy. But live with it.

Def wished it was as solid as my LC500.

If you ever pull off the b pillar trim and fix it, let me know! ?

I thought I read a while ago there was something with the door latch though…or maybe that was only for the earlier builds.

Wrap some electrical tape around the the door latch/striker.

Do a search on that in the forums. I have a how to fix that. I had it too and it was awful. But you can fix it without towels. It’s exactly as I posted above… silicon spray and reseating.

Great idea! Am going to try this tomorrow and report back. It’ll at least eliminate a possibility if nothing else.

It is heart wrenching to hear a rattle in an $80k truck when Im going for a joy ride to clear my mind. I'll report back on what the service center says next visit. I think I may have found the general area of where it is coming from.

Mines been in 5 times for different noises. Center console creak, dash squeak, b pillar groans, etc. it’s quiet… for now.

I only have one rubbing creaking sound that drives me nuts and it’s where the drivers seat contacts the center console. I have the slightest clue on how to fix it.
