Do you live with squeaks and rattles?

Mines been in 5 times for different noises. Center console creak, dash squeak, b pillar groans, etc. it’s quiet… for now.

Were they able to fix each time? What is bad about my rattle is it is only some times. Sad since I enjoy driving the truck so much..

I only have one rubbing creaking sound that drives me nuts and it’s where the drivers seat contacts the center console. I have the slightest clue on how to fix it.

Everyone on here is living by silicone spray. Maybe a little douse of that?

Yes, but twice I couldn’t replicate it and had to bring it back. Frustrating. Luckily I’m only 20 min from the SC

Have they charged you yet at all? I was never charged a diagnostic fee or anything of the sort on my last trip. I live about 30 minutes from a SC which isn't too bad. Hopefully they can get these rattles taken care of.

Not once and they’ve given me a newer model X each time and have been very accommodating. $100k truck owner shouldn’t have to live with squeaks and rattles. I’m too used to the quiet solid feel of the Teslas.

Not my first time posting this, but use this, and apply a strip between the seat bolster and center console, instant fix, plus the roll of felt tape makes for an interesting fidget toy (you'll see!).

Just got back from the service center to address a rattle I have on the drivers side . Unfortunately, it is intermittent, sometimes the rattle is there sometimes it is not. Of course as I went on the drive with the service member, it was very faint. Though, they said they may be able to do something about it. After about 2 hours waiting, my service appointment was complete. After driving home, it seemed even worse. I was wondering if anyone else has squeaks and rattles? Do you just live with it or have you had a successful service appointment to address it?

Well, I don’t know about you, but I paid too damn much money for this truck for it to rattle around like it does. What I’m wanting to do is drive a new one or a different one to see if it does the same thing. I also have what I consider to be excessive motor noise, our gearbox noise, which ever fits.

What about a howeling sound over the top of the vehicle while on the highway. Seems to happen when there is a slight cross wind. Anyone else experience this>?

I love the motor noise! All of them! Give me more. haha. Any recordings of what you find excessive though? Have you taken yours in to the service center to see if they can address the rattles?
