I’m taking it to get serviced in 2 weeks lol but Tesla appointments are minimum 2 weeks in Los Angeles smh

You clearly have a misalignment or something has popped out. I’m confident that one of the the members here will be able to steer you (pun intended) in the right direction on a DIY fix for this. I would just manhandle that sucker back into place (or more likely spray some WD-40 on that thing just for my own sanity) but don’t take my advice and break your car one of these guys will give you a more professional approach to fixing it I’m sure.

In the meantime, I need to go put cotton balls in my ears to sop up all of this fricking blood flowing from them!

Oooooooof!! That's bad. I have very occasional plastic on plastic squeaking from the steering, but NOTHING like that.

On the bright side, I don't think anything serious is wrong, my bet is it's just a really bad case of plastic shrouds rubbing badly--praying for nothing worse.

that happened to me once after the SC opened up my CT to fix another rattle. They didn't properly install it back or aligned it. Go back to the SC and they should have it fixed within an hour.

I had this same issue. It was a pain driving it for three weeks waiting for my appointment with the SC. It must be a rare occurrence as I hadn’t heard of anyone else with this issue until today. The SC replaced the column housing behind the steering wheel and made some adjustments to fix the issue.
